  1. It's been a hard few weeks hasn't it? I can't remember the last time I felt so down about the state of my football club, thanks to David Moyes I've spent my teens in almost Everton bliss. Some fantastic memory's, granted not a shadow on what the children of the 80's or other great Everton teams may have experienced, but in contrast to the 90's the 00's have been a lot brighter up until this season. Things have reached the surface now and we are all getting worried. The actions of our board are leading Evertonian's into a cilvil war like state, it's not a good feeling but that topic is up for discussion all over this forum so I'll leave it there... However, this weekend 6,500 Evertonian's will descend on the capital for the early KO, live on Skysport's with ticket prices sky high & at a time when everyone is skint. That in itself is something to be proud of. Even more so with the doom and gloom that sits over Goodison. It just shows the rest of the country what a big club we are. As a group of fans we are special. I won't be at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, but I know that every single person in that Everton end will get behind the lads and hopefully spur them onto victory, I don't like to say it but I've got a great feeling about Saturday, with the season we are having its a massive game. Lets be honest, are season will end if we get beat... So lets put all this doom and gloom behind us, go down there and show Chelsea what our grand old team is made of and show them what a REAL Football Club is all about. When Everton score I can promise you, you WILL hear me from Malaysia! For 90 minutes lets pull together as a club, one for all, all for one! A proud club that can still cut it with the best! COYB
  2. Hi Hari, welcome to the forum, I'm fairly new here as well! Thats fantastic that you follow the blues all the way from India! You support a proper football club in England, the People's Club... Have you ever been to Goodison Park?
  3. I think Kenwright and Dave Jones are friends aren't they? We'd all like someone like Coyle or Billic. I don't think we could call it a step forward but it wouldn't be a step back taking either of them. However, my question wasn't you would we like? Thats to easy, we could all sit here and list Managers we want to take the helm. Who realistically could we expect, for me, Maghull hits the nail on the head. Dave Jones would be in and we would start to back paddle. One thing is for sure, whoever does come in when Moyes goes has a very hard job ahead.
  4. I'm sorry for not doing anything to help lift the doom and gloom around here Gentlemen, so I'll apologise in advance. But I've been thinking, if David Moyes does walk away from our famous old football club in the summer, who can we realistically expect to take the helm? Lets be honest, as sure as death, the day will come when Everton and David Moyes part ways. I don't know if it will be next week or next summer but that day will come. My question is simple, who would we attract as a manager, as a Football Club (due to our history and fan base) we still have a lot to offer and I don't care what anyone says, forgetting our financial situation we would still be an attractive outfit to any young and hungry manager... So who and what type of manager would we expect, not which manager would we like?
  5. Good read. Like the way the listed 'Millwall' for improving their stadia alongside Liverpool, Newcastle and Manchester United.
  6. Bringing people in during the summer is the last thing I'm thinking about... We still don't know what Division we will be playing in as of yet. + has the OP been living under a rock for the past few months, Port Vale out spent us in the January transfer window FFS.
  7. Moyes will go in the summer, however, anyone who believes he has taken us as far as he can is talking shit. He still is yet to win a trophy with Everton.
  8. I stayed up till 2:00AM watching that shite, I feel for you lads that paid good money in order to head to Bolton. We were awful. Not one player had a half decent game. It's starting to wear thin now. Why, did we start with 4-5-1 when everytime we have started a game this season with a more positive outlook we seem to have picked up a result or at least shown signs of a positive performance. Where do we go from here lads, if we play like that against Chelsea 'shit will get messy'.
  9. He was thinking that he'd have got in front of Victor at Leeds and he was more than likely confused by the whole situation.
  10. Very, Very, Very good shout mate. I think you are right. But as someone stated above about wholesale changes. Any form of 'Massive Change' or 'Overhaul' normally has a dire effect to begin with. Would Moyes be willing to dismantle everything he has built knowing that starting the cycle again may prove that in five or six years we are just back to where we are now, with a new crop of players having to be sold to fund more change. Would our club steer clear of relegation if wholesale change was introduced, I'm not so sure. I haven't got the answers and I'm worried about the future of our football club. It is ok saying "Lets bring in an new owner" but who out there is looking to buy? The difference with us and the Redshite, is that people wanted to buy Liverpool Football Club. How many people really want to buy Everton Football Club? I'm scared that the REAL answer is no one does. As for the statement "Would Relegation Be A Blessing In Disguise". I respect your shout but have a day off will yer, thats like saying Cancer would be brilliant because it makes you start thinking about what you have in life and maybe you won't take things for granted. Its that kinda concept and I think its utter shite. Relegation would mean we don't come back. I'm sure of that.
  11. For me he didn't look like he cut could it yesterday, also I think his lifestyle might be a problem. I'm sure Moyes would have picked up on this. It's a shame really because he doesn't realise just what he has, a chance to be a professional footballer at a club we all love. I'd chop my knobhead off for that.
  12. Lets face it Mike, how many businessmen that arn't massive blues are gonna wanna pay ex amounts of pounds for a box in ground like Goodison, they just won't will they? I love the place as much as the next man but in modern day terms it's hardly easy on the eye...
  13. Victor was poor today, very poor. He doesn't know how to use his upper body and he is a very big lad. Its a shame. As for Baxter, he looked a bit lost when he came on. He doesn't like he can fill James V's boots let along anyone else.
  14. After last night.... Yes for me. Jonny H was to lightweight.
  15. This is what I've been wondering. I'm out working in the Far East at the moment and so the only things I hear are from forums & Facebook. Bluekipper is full of it. But someone was saying the other day how a small group started to chant 'sack the board' and they were drowned out and given an ear full by older blues. So what is the common thinking amongst our supports guys?
  16. One positive I'm trying to take is that we still have a very strong starting 11 so things could be worse. However, until we find a buyer (which is looking less likely each day) then I think we are behind the likes of Stoke a modern day football club. So YES is my answer
  17. Mate, nice thought coming on here trying to build bridges. But we are not your twin & we never will be. The only thing we have in common is that we both live in the shadow of a team in red. Personally, I hate Manchester United and I like to see them lose but I respect them all the same. Certain people within their club command respect Sir Alex Ferguson, Ryan Giggs & Scholes etc. However, I can't say the same for Manchester City. I'm jealous I'll hold my hands up. I envy how my club has tried to do things properly (in the past) with a manager that has slowly built a football team and yours has leap frogged all that hard work due to the financial muscle of some oil rich 'Sheikh'. It gets on my tits and I hope it goes wrong for you. Nothing personal my little Manc Friend! Here's to you smashing Liverpool on the 10th April.
  18. This season I'd agree mate. But we all know what Mikel can do. On his day he is unplayable. Just a shame we haven't seen to many of those 'days' this term. I still believe in Mikel though, I still think he can find his feet this year. Thats why I'd like to see him out on the right.
  19. That pretty much spells out his time at Everton mate, either a world beater or pretty poor. At the moment he's pretty poor. I like him out on the right, he's got the skill and thinking to go past a man and whip a decent ball in. I think Moyes should look at this again. As for Billy, I think he's one of those players that has a knack of popping up at the right time and hitting it sweetly. He can be a very good player at Everton.
  20. It's depressing isn't it? It's actually starting to get me down now. Before I just brushed it under the carpet because as we all know we were punching about our weight on the pitch. But something needs to change and quick time. I'm reading so many different things & so many different points of view I don't know which conclusion to draw.
  21. Get yourself on Bluekipper if you want to see a forum outburst, jesus.
  22. I like to think I'm a positive kinda guy, but its hard at the moment. Why isn't Moyes putting pressure on his employers? I can see rough sea's ahead chaps. 8 Years of hard work, building a decent side is looking like a waste. I'd like to put it down to this crazy season. But I think I'd be sticking my cock in the sand if I did that.
  23. Hi Lads and Ladies, I’ve just started playing a new Online Football Managers game called Futera World Football – it uses trading cards for players.... I’ve been playing loads recently but there are not many European or English based teams, so hard for me to swap codes etc, thought I’d see if anyone on here was up for having a go. When you sign up online (at www.futeraworldfootball.com) you are given a free starter squad to play with so it doesn't cost you anything, its just a good laugh, especially as you can give other players stick, good banter! I’m going to be kind and give few codes of some of the cards I’ve got hold of. Each card has a code on the back (the best cards – Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, have a unique code, so you can only add them if you actually find their card in a pack) just goto register cards and you can add these to your squad… KM101795 GL996744 GS702729 FA718597 KG923590 SC423194 Also I’ve been told that if you enter a PROMO code of KING1217 when you register for a team you get 2 other top players, although I don't know if this is right as I only found out after I’d made my team.
