here a sopcast link - i think it may be on here. : sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/69470 enjoy
  4. Jags should be in the england squad. Thought Neville did well, as did Osman and Fellaini. Happy Saha has started his tally, hope there's many more to come. COYB
  5. Any old links, any old link, any any any old links?
  6. I'd be tempted to start with the exact same eleven that started on Saturday, with the message that if you play well, then you start. The second half the boys put in should be rewarded with a start against Bolton. Hibbert should defo be left on the bench (and not only for this game). My only thought is about Cahill, perhaps, due his his recent 'laziness' I'd think about taking Yakubu off and leaving Saha up on his own. But for the sake of trying to keep the boys going from where they left off on Saturday I'd keep it all the same and think about making some changes in the second half.

  8. Im now on: Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder. Anyone read it?
  9. Disappointing in the end to come away with only a point. Fair play, we played some of our best football so far, but again the same old story. WE HAVE TO START KEEPING CLEAN SHEETS!!
  10. well, like I said, wishful thinking. 2-2
  11. Wishful thinking at the moment I know, but I'd like to see us claw back some of the deficit we've given ourselves so far this season. One for the Jak, one for Saha, and another one for Baines or Lescott and I'll be utterly chuffed. ........ . Fingers crossed
  12. Thought we might just be able to keep a clean sheet today, or at least for the first half. Saying that, not a bad first half, some really good play.
  13. Would love to see moutinho here, and a top, speedy winger.
  14. If the barcodes beat us this weekend. Im gonna give up football for life. I can't take any more.
  15. The problem is there aren't many managers, if any, out there, who would I could see as a step forward or equal. Moyes was a find. People like Big Sam, are no better manager than Moyes, that's what makes me so hesitant to say he should leave, whoever comes in is going to have the same resources Moyes has got now. And, on top of that, as they've got wind that we are/were willing to splash out 3.4mil for Moyes signature, we for sure wouldn't be getting a bargain replacement.
  16. Got to agree with some of the above comments. I think Moyes has to sign his contract and sort his players out, or move on. The players are obviously worried about what's going on with the manager, and I think if he'd signed before today's match we'd be celebrating another prospective good run in the UEFA Cup. Instead, we just keep getting fobbed off with "the contract's waiting and will be signed next week", the same story that's been going around for months. The team is not playing well right now, with no confidence, and who's responsibility is that, eh Moyesy? I think Moyes has done a great job while he's been here, but since the end of last season, he's proven himself to be uncommmitted to the Everton cause, dallying with his contract, dallying in the transfer market, and now failing to instill belief in his players, and fobbing the fans off with bullshit line after bullshit line. I want answers from you Moyesy, Im angry beyond words at this disgrace.
  17. Bollox, this team is a fookin pile of shit. Defence like a sieve - 16 goals in 8 games. not fookin good enough. Take it from me lads, it's gonna be a shit season. I'm gutted, really gutted, but more than that, I feel angry cos those players just aren't playing anywhere near well enough.
  18. ..and we're out. unless.....extra time anyone?
  19. The first fifteen minutes was living upto all the pre match "this is the game we turn it around" drool, that's been spilling out a lots lately. But since then, we've been average at best. Not one single shot on target....yet!!
  20. Was just thinking to myself, that we were starting to look a little better in defence. Damn fate-tempting thoughts!!
  21. Personally I think the next four games are all must win games. First of all, there will be immense dissappointment all round if we don't make it through on Thursday night. After that we need to start getting some points up on the board, otherwise we're seriously going to get left behind. We need at least seven points from Newcastle, Arsenal, Manu. Ambitious I know, but if we don't want to get left behind, that's what we need.
  22. I wouldn't mind any foreigners coming in and buying us, not one bit. As long as... 1- Moyesy gets a nicebig whopping contract for at least 5 years. 2- A new stadium is developed (preferably in the city if possible). 3- Moyes has complete control over players, transers and the football side of things. 4- Any investment is sustainable, so if they do decide to pack their bags, we're not left in an onion bhaji, so to speak, 5- We continue to develop from inside the club - most importantly, we keep bringing quality young players through the ranks.
  23. Just read on the OS (http://evertonfc.co.uk/news/archive/lescott-s-apology.html) that Lescott has apologised for the team's poor display and being kicked out of the Carling Cup last night. Fair enough. I'm just getting a bit sick already of hearing the same old story. After each match they bring out someone new who reiterates something along the following lines: "Yeah, we know we didn't perfom well enough and it's our own fault. We're not playing as a team, we're making mistakes, blah, blah, blah,,, and we owe it to the fans, it's time to step up and hopefully this next game will be the one which is going to kick-start our season." The thing is our season should have kick-started itself in August, not waiting till bloody October. I'm just getting a little tired of hearing this story every week. It's time to get your acts together lads, once and for all; put your heads back on your shoulders, your feet back on the ground (or pitch, whatever), and start getting some results.
  24. What on earth has gone wrong. It looks like it's gonna be a bad week ahead. We've been knocked out of the Carling Cup tonight; the way we're leaking goals left right and centre, we're gonna get bashed at the weekend; and we're probably gonna get knocked out of Europe next week. I've only got one word to describe my feelings. B@11@[ks!!
  25. I think Baines is a decent player. Perhaps doesn't have the size and weight of Lescott, which we do need, but if he's going to be making mistakes all day long......... He's been moved from centre defence cos he wasn't perfoming there, I can't see it being long till he moves on to the bench. I'm sorry to say it, cos i honestly think he's a good player, he just needs a kick up the jacksy.
