Ha ha, never seen Shukes get a cob on before.
Go ed Shukes lad, you tell us
Haha twat!

Your all missing the point...all.
No one WANTS to finish second or lower and play exciting stuff.
Some want to play exciting stuff and challenge for the top, but would be happy to be challenging and playing great football.
Some don't mind playing negative to win.
Myself I would rather play football that excites me....be it,
Fast
Pressing
Smooth
Heart and guts
Or even solid....
As long as it excites me.
Would I want us to play boring football that's a pain to watch every week, just to get a trophy?
No way would I.
There isn't a type that wins titles.
You need to he able to mix it, play exciting at times and dig deep at others.
That's exciting football.
-
But what you are talking about IS exciting.
I honestly don't want to struggle and get battered every match and then get a lucky goal and win.
I would honestly like us to build a team that is exciting to watch and then try and won a trophy with that team.
-
To he fair Padd, Leicester were far from boring. Winning 1-0 doesn't have to be boring.
I was quite impressed with thier hard working ethic. That is exciting for me.
Doesn't have to be flair football to be exciting.
-
Football for me is entertainment.
I need to enjoy watching my team. I need to fall in love with them.
The reason I support Everton and not one of the trophy teams is that the second I watched them I got hooked on the passion. Since the I have only grown more and more into an Evertonian.
Whoever comes here better have the fans at heart before himself. Football comes first, trophy second for me.
I'm a purist and still see football as a sport before a business.
-
Ahhh so that's what you've been doing with Lukaku. Nice.
Haha that's a great tactic
Barkleys shit as well.
Add Stones and Besic to that too.
Anyone listening?
-
We only played negative football when Martinez tried to shore up his defence.
Before that we were one of the most creative teams in the premier.
We didn't really struggle to score...it was stopping them going in that was the problem.
-
Reading that article I am really warming to the idea of Pellegrini.
Someone mentioned having him here to lay our foundations and bringing a younger prospect in after a few years.
This could be another very good appointment following the arrival of Moshiri.
-
This is why I like Besic so much.
He has ability but as of yet hasn't really settled here...hasn't had a good run yet though..., but instead of calling for a move he works harder.
His interviews are all about how grateful he is for this chance and how he wants to show the fans what he can do.
Would love the new manager to make him a big part of our new team.
Maybe his attitude can rub off on Ross and we'll finally see Ross really the level we know he can.

Really don't get this thread now.
I understood why it became a Haf thread....Haf you did have a point to prove and maybe took it a bit far.
But are people that lost in this thread that they can't see through a glory boy.
Growing up I was taught a tough lesson. Work your ass off to get what you want....prove yourself to he the best etc etc.
Lukaku's philosophy.... I am not winning with this team
...where can I go to get instant success?
What happened to proving yourself and being part of something? When did it become OK for our players to just want to buy titles?
He's ambitious so it's ok to want to move to a winning team....
Well guess what...Tony fucking Hibbert wants to win trophies too, let's sell him to Barca because he's fucking ambitious and deserves it.
Wake up people!
You want something, then bloody earn it.
Lukaku's been shit for the last three months, not just a dry spell, that happens.
But he's been lazy, his finishing has been shit and his attitude has stunk.
How is that anyone's fault other than his own?
We can all agrue about how wrong Haf is, but let's face it...most are arguing because thier backs are up now that he's looking like he had it right all along.
65 million...you really think anyone will actually offer that? I'll be shocked if anyone does.
I would still... After all that's happened, love to see Rom come out, apologise and say he wants to stay and prove himself as he doesn't think we have saw him at his best.

Yeh Hafnia and MikeO got Martinez completely wrong.
Me too. Backed him right up until the last three months.
I thought he could turn it round.
Wrong on a different level.
-
Let's watch and see.
If he is as good as some think he is then the 65m offers will come, possibly more of there is a bidding war.
If he isn't then we're probably looking around 45m.
I l ow that doesn't mean he is good or had. But it's a good judge when experienced managers will pay the rate.
-
every day Shukes, every day. (But thats enough about my daily fist fights)
Haha. You k ow I'm only joking, though I still play with my missus when competing with anything. I tell her she has no chance being a women and that she should feel proud when she loses a close one.
Usually ends up with a bruise somewhere on my ass or shins haha.
-
I'm just waiting for Ossie to get caught speeding.....he would frame it!
-
I just dont get why men (boys) assume that they should be better than girls at playing fifa. Its not as if strength etc makes any difference, its all about who has the most practice.
I just assume because we're the master race.
You got beat by a girl didn't you!
-
That was pretty funny to be fair.
I would have threw the controller haha.
-
Wow, never realised so many clubs are in so much debt. Makes us look like a pretty well run club
Chelsea..over a billion debt?
-
Geth that's funny.
Though it did make me think of one thing.
The grass isn't always greener.....not sure that was your intention.
You also had that Scottish redhead stuck in your mind for a reason. Maybe you always felt there was unfinished business. She was always there.
Maybe inside you didn't want to go for the gold diggers and wanted that dependable and loyal one back.
-
Hasn't been given a good amount of money to spend here. I'd like to see what he can do with £100m. Not against his return at all although I'd prefer De Boer.
Good point.
My biggest concern would be how he treated us after he left.
The.. We need to let players move onto bigger things....comment really pissed me off.
-
I would prefer someone else but it wouldn't be the end of the world.
He will have a point to prove at least.
If I was interviewing hin I would need to see his business plan along with his targets and plans for our current squad.
You need to buy me and this position David. Show me.
-
What a coincidence Rom, I want you to leave too.
Last two years with you, we have been poor.
It's time we took the next step, and unfortunately that means we need our squad to take a step up to. And you just don't fit that Bill I'm afraid.
-
Yes I have to admit I have witnessed that many times.
MikeO is right...were all only guessing and are basing our assumptions on our own guesswork rather than facts.
Don't think he is saying either are right or wrong, just that we have no factual evidence of it......yet.
-
I would be happy to get a striker that could score as many as Rom.
But my knowledge of overseas players isn't that good...well isn't even average.
But a striker that could get 15-20 goals and a decent creative mid that could got 10 themselves could turn us into a different proposition.
We shouldn't rely on one striker.
Look at this season when we did....we were awful.
-
U10s look great. Get them on the bench.
win the league guaranteed with boring football or runners up with exciting football

My sole reason for supporting Everton is because I love them.
Club and football come first.
Trophys are something we are awarded occasionally as a reward for our football.
Nil satis nisi optimum.
Not.... How do you say....who gives a fuck as long as we win.....in Latin?
