Let's just sell Rom, keep the money and put Moshiri up front.
So far the guy seems to be doing all the work on his own.
Bill got so lucky when he walked through the door didn't he.
Or maybe it was very smart work by Bill and he now has decent help, and we're reaping the rewards from it?
Though we're still in the same position as last year at the moment.

Ahh damn...I'm gonna apologise before someone calls me up on it....didn't actually check the other stats haha only distribution.
-
I'm still on my Robles gripe.
He talks about distribution...yet statistically Howard was better....going by sqawka that is.
In fact Howard scored better in 90% of areas om sqawka.
Yet a goalkeeper that stood between the sticks in what can only be described as our worst run for three years....is going to be his replacement.
Rant over...what thread is this?
-
You are talking about Vardy aren't you?
-
But that is what we want isn't it?
I would be happy with that to be fair.
-
stones tried to quit and waved off the fans, i realize you were off the forum at that time, but its strange you haven't been on the Stones out brigade as much as Lukaku. Lukaku never handed in a request, it's all press stuff of which sport journalists have little to no credibility regardless. Where's the furor for John?
Hmm didn't Stones keep his mouth shut and carry on?
Hardly the same.
Why would anyone get om his back when he did it correctly and didn't go spewing to the press about how he has been let down.
Jon Stones probably still wants hos big move, that's why you see him all the time talking about it at every opportunity.
-
Don't be baffled.... it's a ridiculous post that serves as a trap.
The only response to such a post would be "of course Howard makes saves, he's a keeper, jags makes interceptions cos he's a defender"
Why would Lukaku score more goals than his team mates??? Is it cos he's been the main lone striker a season???
Haha its like rocket science.

what is wrong with wanting to win a trophy? in america we call that drive and determination and a goal to strive for. who the fuck does he think he is? he thinks he's a footballer that wants to win. Not phil "we'll give it a go" nice guy jagielka. i want winners not nice guys.
Some players are willing to work for it though.
Rom wants to buy it with a transfer to a ready made trophy team.
It's not about wanting to win either, your missing the point. It's the disrespecting the club that have you a chance when your own club didn't want you.
Many players want to win things, just do it with a bit of dignity that's all.
-
K looks like he is off then.
By Rom. Thanks for the goals and I hope you do well wherever you go.
Our top league scorer since Yakubu I think. Let's see if we can get 50+ and replace him with a player that will fit the team and take us to the next level.

Funny that from Hafs post no one really comments on the valid negatives but rather concentrate on Hafs vendetta.
The one that really struck me was the 2016 goals. Is that true?
He does seem to have a purple patch and then go dry.

Part and parcel of being a Cb. Your expected to pick up a few making up for others mistakes. Jags is a shit house.
Mori has the passion to get the players and fans fired up. Never seen jags do a tackle or win a header to get the team going like Phil Neville on Ronaldo. Never seen him trip players and take the yellow rather than let the opposition have a free shot.
I have witnessed loads of stirring moments from Jags, tackles, Headers and blocks that must have been painful.
Just because he generally times them well doesn't mean he has no passion.
If Jags shouted like Terry, would that make him a better player.....or just a mouthy twat?

Would disagree and say that's a bit of a reactionary response. I would say, however, that Man U is obviously an important part of his life. He was brought through their ranks and it was there where he achieved most of his glory.
Excellent point.
I just don't think we owe him much, but then an appearance in someone else's may he justified like you say.
-
Not Neville, he was back up man u's backside the minute he left us.
Didn't take him five minutes to forget us.
Everton never touched him.
-
I'm never a fan of looking backwards and would much rather go in a fresh direction.
Got no hard feelings towards him for leaving, he was an easy way to fund that transfer window without us really losing anything.
I'm the same, don't want to go backwards.
I do rate him, just don't think it would be taking the next step. Rather papering over the cracks for us.

sometimes. aguero doesn't defend or track back, he scores bags of goals.
Bad example. Aguerro is a hound for defenders.

I apologise for hurting your feelings. I'm definitely all about feelings so you can imagine the devastation on my part.
Oh I had an agenda, to be sarcastic as usual, it just wasn't all about you.
Apology accepted.
Make it about me next time ;-)
-
May have took you a while to get here, bit bow your here to stay and will be welcomed as one of the family.
-
I hate to break it to you, Shukes, but you're not important enough for the post to be specifically aimed at you. Sorry!
Well now I'm just hurt.
Here's me thinking you had an agenda, when really it was just a mere coincidence.
And I thought me and you had a bond!
-
I'm not sure how to go about dearying you if I'm honest. Is it a new way of saying bugger me?
No, it's me sitting back with a little smile on my face, nodding slightly, feeling fairly happy with myself
-
Haven't you heard? It's dead easy to replace a striker.
Oh deary me.

Many people argued that all that was missing from a Moyes side was a goalscorer, but we couldn't find and afford that proven goalscorer. Now, they're easy to find and get... oooooook then!
Didn't say easy, just not that difficult.
And Moyes had a few proven goalscorers in his sides.
Yakubu, Johnson, RVP and Rooney to name a few. It suggests it's how the manager constructs the team rather than an individual...don't you agree?
And I still stand by my point that it would be harder to find a defender of stones class.
Leicester just won the premiership and Spurs ran them to the wire.
Neither had world class centre forwards.

Did he actually bollock Baines?
I either missed it or it hasn't been said anywhere
Genuine question by the way. Read loads of spin but the Only thing from the club was that Baines apologises for how it was interpreted. Sounded like he did it off his own back.
Unless I missed it all.
Agree that he should have hot Lukaku hard.
Professionalism doesn't really mean anything to these ego's anymore.
Sad thing is that the fans are starting to turn that way to. So many think it's ok.
