Just saw the highlights, brilliant from Ross for the second, why can't he do that more often!
-
It's ok wanting Robles to be so much better than Howard, but keep it real please ;-)
-
Not like Tim Howard to fall over the ball is it? Pathetic attempt at a save. The only thing he could have done to make it more typical is star jumped over it.
So the goal was Howard's fault?
Desperation is evident in your voice my friend......or maybe just no knowledge of football.

A very nice, short summation of the match today. Ped in his car no less! Very interesting at the end he talks about Moshiri stopping to look at the protesters - sounds like he "heard" them loud and clear. So did Bill.
Would have been pretty surprising if they didn't, they did it at Goodison haha.

We're 12 points ahead with 9 to play for...mathematically impossible to be relegated.
Unless I'm reading wrong.

A lot of fans want to show that were no different than the rest, we're not special.
If it works for other clubs then we will copy.
As paying fans we have a right to tell the manager he's full of shit.
I mean Come on, it's not like he's human like the rest of us.

Leicester 1-2 Everton

That's brilliant haha clever and funny

I've looked through twitter and I honestly feel for Martinez. It should never have come to this. The behaviour and protests are disgusting IMO. As much as I don't want him as manager he's a human being and this is ridiculous.
Totally agree.
Don't feel our board should let themselves be bullied.
I also want a change, but not at the expense of ending up like just another team. Let's stay Everton, even if it's just in our minds that were better than that....then let me stay there.
-
Had a little look and there's not many at all is there really.
A few small pockets of people.
Not saying that it's a minority that want him out,...just that it was a very small minority that stayed in the ground to protest.
-
I suggest you click on the twitter link and look at the comments below. There's another picture which showns you the bullens. No image of park end, main stand or top balc
I'll go look.
If it was a bigger protest, it shows the person that took the picture was probably a pro Martinez.
-
But you can add to that my eternal optimism.
A shot that's 2mm wide is never going I to me and if on target....the goalkeeper would have save it, threw it upfield and we would have scored on the break.
So they should count themselves lucky it wasn't more haha.
-
I didn't think of them as stat shots, but you're probably right that it was just me feeling the pressure of throwing away another 2 points.
Don't we all. Someone posted that we'll concede and I suddenly felt that sick feeling again.
Wrong that we feel this way but understandable.
-
To me,you can't score with a shot that's off target.
Look at our stats early season.
20+ shots....1 goal.
Opposition 3 shots, 2 goals.
-
You might be responding to my post that Bournemouth might have scored in final 20 minutes. I thought I remembered 3, and checking the play-by-play, it lists Ritchie just missing to the right in 89th, Afobe's header just high in 78th, and Stanislas miss to the right in 77th. There were also 2 or 3 around 70 minutes that were blocked in the box.
Maybe none of these was "on target," but at least 2 were just wide or high, and definitely were concerning shots.
The shot was always going wide but a decent strike.
The header wasn't close, wasn't even a free header.
The other...Can't even remember.
I didn't really rhink we were under pressure that's all.
They made have a few stat shots, but this isn't Fifa.
-
It was a bigger protest than that image suggests.
OK, that's fair enough.
The image suggests it was a handful.
I could probably count the people in that picture.
Probably taken by someone having a laugh rather than someone on thier side.
-
How many times have people said here that they'd take a dull win over an exciting draw? 3 points are 3 points, and we have a chance of finishing in the top half of the table - after making it to the final four in both cup competitions.
That only counts if someone else is on charge.
Have to admit though. I need something special to bring my spirits up this season.
Three 4-0 wins would make me feel a bit better.

I think the tennis balls thing was just a joke suggestion. At least I hope it was because that would've been embarrassing!
Well bloody hell they had me, twats!
Then again that's not hard!
-
You said the majority have spoke after such a dismal protest, so what else was I supposed to think?!
Obviously you realised that was in reference to the call for the tennis balls.
My fault, I didn't make it clear!
-
Bollocks I want him gone but wouldn't lower myself into those jibes.
Well good for you, bigger than I though you were.
-
You think the majority want him to stay? I think most want him to go but that a lot don't agree with protesting to make it happen, with some bring shit scared of being labelled a Kopite.
You do have a skill of trying to read between the lines, I do admit.
-
Didn't say that at all.You think the majority want him to stay? I think most want him to go but that a lot don't agree with protesting to make it happen, with some bring shit scared of being labelled a Kopite.
I want him to go myself.
-
Looks like the majority spoke.
A little embarrassing of a turn out to be fair.....Basically a pub full.
-
They didn't have a shot in the last twenty minutes to deserve a goal?
We were quiet I agree, but you need to shoot to score.

Not sure what any of hat meant.
I looked in the mirror, still didn't think it was Howard's fault.
Think I must just misunderstand the English language like you say.
Err no I'm not drunk either.
Thanks for the compliment though, been a long time since I have been mistaken for a handsome young lad...appreciate it mate.
