  1. Harry Kane has failed at every club bar Spurs. Spurs have the best midfield in the league and with a better striker, such as Lukaku, they would have pissed the league. Meanwhile a team with a weak captain won't be lifting a cup of challenging for the league.

Now that's just silly. Kane was playing is Spurs u18s wasn't he?

I remember him playing for spurs and England u18s alongside our own headless chicken...what was his name...Hallam Hope.

  2. im just showing the good and the bad mate - everything that he is suspect in usually, he did well yesterday. The one thing he's best at completely failed. But his performance was very good in my opinion, with the exception of his finishing.

    Agree with this completely

MOM vote is ridiculous as he should be judged on his job.

But he did put effort in and did show he can hold the ball up.

Yes his control was poor, but that's not effort.

Yes it was embarrassing when he put his foot on the ball and looked up....just before getting tackled.

But he did good things to.

This season has turned us into something horrible. We question everything and criticise them all.

Look at the response to Cleverley posting about how bad they all feel that they have let the fans down..... All people can reply is how he shouldn't have been on the pitch etc.

We all need to regroup as fans and a team.

  3. Barkley completely embodied our performance yesterday.

In the first half he was diabolically bad. If I'm being nice I'd say he was lethargic, but I'm being honest he was a disinterested, waddling bag of shite.

Then in the second half it was like a different player came out, and I thought he was our biggest improved player. He dominated United and he scared the shit out of them, and they had no answer for him other than to continually foul him. Where has that Ross Barkley been for months?! I want that one, that's the one we can build a side around.

    Thought exactly the same.

He's getting a lot of stick but I think he did for us in the second half what Rooney did for them in the first. Controlled everything.

Martinez needs to sit them down and make them watch that second half and just ask, why can't wee see this regularly?

First half of the season we saw it and we're unlucky mostly.

Second half we have been in relegation form.

  4.

Big fish in a small pool in Greece, sadly not cut it when he stepped up; I really wish he had. If he was as good as he he thinks he is is we'd have Messi on our hands, Unfortunately not the case.

Wanted him to succeed so badly though.

Got a top with his name on, told everyone about the poor man's Ronaldo.

    It just never happened.

I still think he has a place though. If he could get his head on the right place he could be good for us.

He just needs to learn his level...and it ain't champions league.

  5. The goal seemed to happen in slow motion and in complete silence from my perspective. It was weird.

I'm not surprised the players dropped to their knees when it went in, I felt their pain. They'd put everything into that second half, I was proud of them. Immensely so in fact. It was cruel but inevitable what happened though.

Mate i feel sick tonight. But have to say,I heard you guys through me TV.

    You were awesome.

No matter how I feel, you guys must feel worse.

But I agree with your sentiments. Bit of pride inside here. The lads did enough to beat anyone. Bit of better finishing or luck.

No matter what I love these guys tonight.

  6. Oh come on!!! Seriously? He's been sent off twice and injured 3 or 4 times...then when he has played has been more miss than hit.

I don't get all this man love for him, like he's some sort of world class saviour. It's the only thing that gets on my tits on here these days.

Not even read back to see who thos is about...but I'm 100% it's about Mirralas haha.

Thought I was the only one watching the player and not the name. He's had his chance.....he's just simply not good enough to take them.

Funny isn't it....how we don't get any offers for him. How the whole world is blind haha.

No one rates him other than a few Everton fans who....like me, wish he would be what we wanted.

I have scored goals that could be deemed as world class. But I couldn't do it every five shots.

  7. Hold up play??? Are you fucking serious??? He was absolutely fucking shocking. Shocking.

Haf, normally I agree with you.

Bur your Lukaku hatred has blinded you mate. His hold up play was good today.

His finishing I agree was Bent.

But his other play was good,he even chased back and blocked the keeper and the right backs clearance.

Not saying it's enough, but it was nowhere near shocking mate.

And I say that with utmost respect for you as you are a football player, not just a fan. Your views come from a high level player. Call me lick ass or what, not bothered.

  8. But he's hasn't been good since. He offers nothing at the moment. Cleverley is just a younger version of Osman.

Oh Mirallas too was excellent before injury/ falling out with Martinez. In fact he is 5 times the player Cleverley will ever be.

But when he's had his chance he hasn't performed. Should we still keep giving him chances because he's so good?

    If you want something....take it.

  9. [i posted this in today's MOTM thread, but it belongs here.]

I keep describing Stones as an "elegant" player. Maybe I copied that from someone else, but it's seems apt. But I also see a very flawed defender, too often out of position, ball watching, unwilling or unable to nudge strikers just enough to throw them off, unaware of opponents moving into his space and past him.

So his "elegance" must refer to his forward movement, deft dribbling touch, good pick-passing once past midfield.

I suppose it's more likely that in a couple of years he'll have learned how to be a better defender. But putting him at DCM for some matches is worth a look.

    Agree mate.

Defending takes maturity and he's young.

    That will come.

Skill. You are born with. This lad has it.

He looks so good striding forward.

Whoever said he looked let keep Rio Ferdinand got it spot on. Absolute class today.

    Take a bow son.
