Baines offers a lot more than most people see. Baines is a Martinez Player, great ball retention, excellent passing and confidence flowing from him. Without Pienaar though, there's no-one on the same wavelength. But that's due to his intelligence and not others being better.

Kev looks really unhappy. Looks like they are trying to push him out but he's refusing to budge. We will lose those four this summer.

That does not mean that the deal is up to them to either accept or decline. If Bill decides not to sell he can. The deal is far from done when exclusivity is signed.

Exclusivity means they have a period of time when they alone have access to the books. It doesn't mean they deal is in thier hands by any means. Nothing is signed at that point

But haven't our results been much better since Lennon and Cleverley have been back? Surely that's a reason for them to stay in the team?

Very well put. I do, I believe in striving and not being safe, but I also understand how football works and realise that there are lots of other things to consider. At the end of this season he either has to make substantial progress or it could be time to move on. I am going to vault myself and say that last week was a blip in a run that has turned a corner. We will win tomorrow and get back into winning ways against villa in the league.
