Neill isn't the second coming, he just is a barely average player who is committed and dirty on occasion. But is far more superior than Hibbert! He hasn't just turned Liverpool down though, it was about 3 years ago, and I think Johnson was probably still on Chelsea's books then. I've never particularly liked Neill because I've always thought he was quite dirty, but he is a decent player, so on a free I'm happy that it's a good signing.
