I don't think it's a joke (although he is), none of the people he's with are "joke" dressed. Reckon some fashion guru has told him it's cool and he's too impressionable (or stupid) to think for himself. Players at his level live in a bubble, normal rules of sanity don't apply. The top is nothing short of a female swimsuit meaning that he is in a womans outfit. I don't know what bizarre thought came into his head when wearing those but I'm sure it must have been from a heavy night out. This is no act of sanity.
