Haye And Valuev

Recommended Posts

I cant wait for it! I just hope it doesnt end up in dissapointment like the 2 big Hatton fights. I have no idea how he is going to be able to knock him out but I guess his speed and movement could get him a points win. Valuev has weighed at his lightest (or at least a lot lighter than expected) and its still comfortably in the 22 stone area, a whole 7 stone more than Haye!

Should be good!

Saw the second half and it looked like a good fight. Can't understand why people thought Valuev would win, when you've got a difference like that its a no-brainer that neither will KO (big man too slow, small man lacks power) so the one that can move around more wins on points...

I take it you've not seen Haye fight before then!

Really..... 21 ko's in 24 fights kind of argues a different point.

Haye is renowned for his punching power, hence David 'the Hayemaker' Haye!

Aye, but the power required to knock a guy that weighs that much and towers above you that much is a lot more than the other 23 opponents he's fought.

The Klitschko (sp?) bros will be a different kettle of fish...

Well he very nearly did in that last round with a punch that wasnt even flush.

Haye has never fought that way before, he normally stands and trades for the most part plus his chin is certainly questionable so it was never going to be a definite result on points.
