Romey 1878
Pienaar, easily.
jcrawfor
Pienaar was great today, but I'd have a hard time saying any of our boys were bad. Yak's finishing could use an extra dash of class, and Nevs crosses should just be barred, but other than that a decent performance from all of them. Like has been said, a good result away and if followed by a win v. Brum we'll be looking a little, tiny bit brighter.
BrotherEstapol
My vote went to the Yak, cause I though he was looking quite dangerous the whole game, was only really denied cause of some fantastic saves. He did look a bit lonely up front though as people have said, and I would really like to see, even for only the last 10 or 15 of a match, him paired up with another striker like Beckford. Actually, have we ever played with Saha and the Yak up front at the same time? That could be interesting. That said, I certainly thought Coleman made a big difference on the wing. He got beaten a couple of times, but he's still young and has lots of room to improve and looks to be our best option there at the moment. Hopefully he's not taking crossing lessons from Nev though, cause Nev's crosses were rubbish...not sure how he ended up up getting on the end of many! Bill
Having watched the the highlights on MOTD, and the whole match on Everton TV, i had no problem at all picking my MOTM. For me Pienaar was back to his best and nobody worked harder, or caused as many problems as he did. If we lose him because the club wont give him the same wage as other players it would be one hell of a mistake, and i for one would be devastated.
