GoldfishMemory
Cant find a link yet butt (see what i did there ) Nick Butt is on his way to Sheffield United for 500K! I think he could do a job fo a season or two in the holding role and if we are nearly out of cash could be a good cheap signing rather than chancing 2-3mil on a player like Barton. Bill
Why was he shipped out from Man utd to Newcastle, no good there and on to Brum , no good there now to Sheff utd. Something tells me he's Got problems and is going downhill fast ..................dont want him and dont need him.
adamsmith69
would much prefer to pay 3 mill for barton as i said he is a different gravy
GoldfishMemory
Think he just fell out of Fergusons plans cos he wanted to play every week which is fair enough then souness bought Emre & Parker so you can see why he requested the loan again to get first team football. As i understand it he got injured at Birmingham and then fell out with Bruce cos he was playing his lad rather than him when he came back from injury. It looks to me like he has been a victim of circumstances when all he wanted was first team football, the lad is hungry to play you have to give him that and at 500k he can still do a job. Point taken tho licker no one knows what happens behind closed doors and there could be a problem i still think he's worth a look to bulk up our squad. Fatboyquim
No - I would have taken him when he left manure - but not now he could not even get into the Birmingham side that got relegated. Rather have Petrov
Adam
Agree has to be about 32 by now. After leaving Mancs he went to Newcastle and couldn't cut it and also Birmingham and couldn't cut it there either. Who would you leave out to play him?
