I do understand that he does an awful lot on the pitch as a threat in the attacking half but if you watch the games again, he has at least three defenate goal scoring opportunities where by his non striker antics comes into play... These games could be seen off far sooner which puzzles me slightly... And as for last night, that was one of the best games i have seen jelavic play in... He was outstanding and the only thing missing was a goal to reward his outstanding work... People need to realise that being a striker is one thing but being a striker at everton is a completely different ball game....................... Jelavic for me!!! Determined and even a bit of sensible play near the end just holding onto the ball. A year ago he would have gone for a shot and lost posession.
