Andy
it said on century fm before that moyeseys first port of call would be to sign a new right back
thebluenose
well its a good call because hibbert is the only established right back. we need cover. but we need a left mid, and a midfielder who can play along the midfield
Andy
we need a striker as a main priority, a left back, cover for right back, a left winger and a couple of younger centre halves, oh and a new keeper
GoldfishMemory
we need a striker as a main priority, a left back, cover for right back, a left winger and a couple of younger centre halves, oh and a new keeper You been on the wacky baccy mate? We have 3 Left backs & 3 young, 2 old centre halves, without selling beattie too I dont think a striker is anywhere near priority! We need right back, left mid & a ball winner in midfield and if theres any money about I'd say right mid was high on the list too. If we sell beattie a proven goalscorer is a must mybe Kean, did anyone see his goal against Boro??

If we sell beattie a proven goalscorer is a must mybe Kean, did anyone see his goal against Boro?? i agree we don't need a striker...we have some young talent and mcfadden and besides that we play better with 4-5-1 i think cahill thrives in that position and gets the goals we need. i agree with the ball winner 100% carsley is too slow to anything, too easily beaten these days ... if vdm can keep playin like he did against west ham, he could ease our midfield problems, but yeh we do need a right back
Louis
I think Joey Barton would be a good player for us (to replace Carsley) however it's a huge risk because not every Evertonian will want him at the club.
Guest blueboy122
i wud much prefer nolan
StevO
Barton is the answer for me too. i know it shouldnt matter who they support, but Barton would surely put more effort in than Nolan. i mean if i was given the chance id play for Liverpool, because getting paid for playing football would be great. but if i played for Everton id try a hello of a lot harder
Romey 1878
Signing Barton would be amazing, I know not everyone will agree but he could add that steel to our midfield which is obviously lacking
Willo
We badly need a classy right back . Are Marc Hottiger , Earl Barrett or Mitch Ward still in the game hahahahah Late edit here forgot about Tony Thomas Edited December 7, 2006 by Willo

StevO
shite at crossing the ball and going forward, but at his defensive duties you will be hard pushed to beat him
Bill
I cant even think of any decent right backs we could bid for ........................ You just said that yourself, ^ Hibbos as good, if not better than most.
StevO
there is only Gary Neville i rate better as a RB, mostly because hes great going forward too
Romey 1878
Micah Richards will be 10 times the player Hibbo can even dream about being
StevO
Richards wont stay as a full back, he'll be a centre half by the time hes 21. but if you can find the cash to buy him then im all for it mate!
