MikeO
Just had a look at a GP my youtube flagged for me (San Marino 1991) which shows how different thing were back then, particularly around reliabillity. Was a wet race admittedly (Prost spun off on the parade lap), but the McLarens finished first and second (Senna and Berger); JJ Lehto, in third, wasn't even on the same lap and Julian Bailey got his one and only career point by coming sixth...three laps down. Madness! And people say it's boring and uncompetitive today
MikeO
Interesting grid today, really hopeful one of the young Brits will manage the win, though I suspect George won't have the race pace sadly...a 1/2 would be epic though, preferably with a McLaren win but I'd happily take the other way. I'll be pleasantly surprised if George is still leading after the first corner. He does seem to think they'll have good race pace though, so who knows! I'm just glad we're at a point where we are wondering what's going to happen to be honest. MikeO
Romey 1878
Another Verstappen win but I really enjoyed that race. Good to see Mercedes did have good race pace. George should’ve had second place but a first podium of the season will still feel good.
Gwlad
Good race. Pleased that Lando made second and Max didn't really have to break sweat. George isn't quite as good as his swagger would indicate too prone to misjudgement.

I think the win was Lando's to lose until the first safety car, he'd already opened up a twelve second gap on Max in no time at all, and no doubt it would've grown bigger with the pace he had at that stage of the race. He'd looked after the inters far better than anyone else. SC helped him in Miami, but cost him here. Romey 1878
