aaron
well we seem to be doing fine without one atm. Since Irvine left we've seen out game style change for the better too, all this neat pass and go play.
thebluenose
im with moyes here. dont make any changes now. wait until the end of the season then he will have the time to bring in the right man. besides, if it aint broke dont fix it

Since Irvine left we've seen out game style change for the better too, all this neat pass and go play. Helped that the players who can pass and go gained proper match fitness and were used to each other as well. Find it unlikely that Irvine was stopping pass and go, as you seem to be insinuating. CraccerC
im with moyes here. dont make any changes now. wait until the end of the season then he will have the time to bring in the right man. besides, if it aint broke dont fix it always hated that phrase. i mean the sentiment is right, and i agree with what your saying, but how can you fix something that's not broken in the first place? Romey 1878
Get him on the Coaching staff maybe, But i'm not sure about assistant Manager. I agree. I wouldn't want him as our assistant manager but I have no problem with him being on the coaching staff.
carlmc25
I agree as well, I like Stubbs but when I've heard him speak I've never thought that he seemed top class management material. He seems like a decent honest bloke rather than a masterminded tactician. I'd rather we got in someone with a real pedigree, maybe even someone from abroad who can inject some new ideas and increase the flair! Calico
What is it about the way Stubbs speaks that makes you think that? And it'd be great to have him on the coaching staff IMO.

Randomness
i think we might just see natural progression Andy Holden to Assistant, Stubbsy to Reserve team coach.
