On the squad page on the official site there are two blank spaces in the middle of the midfield section, does any one think we may be after two new midfielders or is it just like that?

If you read the Echo (ICLIVERPOOL) about Weir saying that Lescott is doing well it says club captain Weir. So don't know if that was left over from last season or if been announced for this season.

Neither of them should even be considered, do you ever see them really opening their mouths and taking charge? No, Pip does that whether hes captain or not, he is a leader, those two arent.

omg mate grow the fuck up, ive said in other poitns who i'd have as captain, i've said beattie before, and i've said, cahill possibly, too or arteta

now i know how i've just said that yobo communications - ok he can speak english, but you wouldnt want a ngierian barkign orders up the park , because well basically, some thigns may get lsot in translation, its just easier to have an englishman, the reason why i've said arteta is because he's by far the best mid we have and although his english may lack a little he is a fairly emotional player adn the fact he's the best may keep him here longer

theres plenty players who can speak english in the prem, that could captain but it's just easier havign an englishman

hibbert is a shout as well, he's kinda vocal but then he has got a penguin head

Stop swearing at me Craccer its getting boring now, its not my fault there are glaring inconsistancys in what you say. Yes you have explained this point but the FACT remains that Yobo speaks better english than Arteta and is more comanding.

As for Cahill and Beattie you have stated several times before that Cahill is overated and wouldnt make it in the team if we had a decent holding player and you dont rate Beattie either!

How can they be your picks for captain if given the choice you wouldn have them in the team?

For the reccord too if it was any other member in your sig you would be bang out of order but I couldnt give a fook

Youre posts have more holes than a fookin

hibbert is a shout as well, he's kinda vocal but then he has got a penguin head

Im sure David moyes had him short listed untill he realised that

theres plenty players who can speak english in the prem, that could captain but it's just easier havign an englishman

Our captain last season was a scotsman, but strangley could speak english

Being a captain is more of an ambasadorial role for the club & leading on the pitch rather than shouting your mouth off, most teams including Everton have about 3 -4 shouters anyway

because well basically, some thigns may get lsot in translation,

Hes not giving a lecture on brain surgery, hed be shouting "GET OUT or PUSH OUT" "GO LEFT" or something like that, in the prem, or any game theres not much time for chit chat.

Have you actually seen a game of football. I have my doubts

Ok you like Arteta even tho his comunication is proberbly the worst in the team and he shits out of every challenge he ever goes in for IMO, quality player but not captain material.

Craccer - its no coinsidence people have these little tiffs with you, surely you can see your own inconsistensies? but i really dont believe you attended one single game when Neville played, you opinion of him is totally flawed and hindered by the fact he came here as a man utd substitute, and you can not get past that. wether you like it or not they have a far better squad than we do, but now neville is one of ours and he shows more support for the blues than you tbh

Liked jolean's interview, when the interviewer said to him, you played well and looked solid with Yobo at the back, jolean said it will take me a bit of time to get to know my teammates, but i can play better than that.

and what? i stick by them comments but because i don't think they're great doesn't mean they're not the best options we have, our team doesn't really have a natural captain, i do think beatties a waste of a shirt, i do think cahill is fairly average, i do think neville is shite, but they're aren't many alternatives....

and to EFCfan - i did come back, why? because what was the research meant to prove? i can think someone isn't that great but may be the best captain option, can't i ? ofcoruse i fucking can, because they're 2 different issues

as for whoever said some bullshit about me up above, i read the 1st line, and that will do me, i get in these situations because i'm not up people's arses like a lot of others here, i have a lot of valid points, maybe my wording isn't always brilliant but fuck it if these people can't see it, i don't care, not my problem, and you think i care about some petty arguements with a guy called Goldfishmemory on a forum that never manages to make a point, i think not

the amount of times i've tried to let this rest with this child, but he keeps makign the attacks, and changing my profile and stuff, and that's why i tend not to dignify most of his posts with a decent response nowadays, because it isn't worth it, he's one of them morons that can't accept anothers opinion

[/rant] i'm out
