Can’t believe that finish. For starters that turn 8 incident max had no intention of making the apex again - just dive bombed into the corner and lewis was forced to avoid. Seocndly - the finish was a complete cluster fuck. I think Hamilton was screwed there, I’m not a fan of either but feel really sorry for him.

I don’t think Rafa will hold a grudge though and hopefully this has been the rocket up Digne’s ass he has needed. We all know his quality and know he hasn’t been at his best for some time. If this gets Digne back towards his best and more consistent then it’s really top top Managment from Rafa.

Agreed. Wages are far too high for a player that can’t stay fit. Shame because we are a better side when he plays.

I like Digne but I don’t think the playing style of Carlo or Benitez suits him one bit to be honest. Defensively he isn’t great and on attack he gets ignored more often than not by the winger cutting in on their favoured foot.

Got the Townsend for Gomes sub right tonight. Unlucky with the 2 offside goals to be chasing the game but ultimately we got the result. Can’t suggest for one second the players aren’t behind him. That kind of passion, determination needs to be normal and not a one off. Let’s go boys

Yeah well he messed it up completely not even knowing Ocon was leading at that point and offering red bull second spot first. Tough track - I think teams will have taken a lot from that race for the next one tactics wise.

Yeah I thought it was strange. I would think he would communicate with Mercedes first to appease their frustration and then inform red bull of the decision. That way if/when the car in front reacts to the decision the following car is at least somewhat aware of what’s happening.
