You think about the amount of overtakes and positions Hamilton made over the weekend - the only one that became potentially dangerous due to the opposing driver is the one with Max. He knew it was the only way he could defend him and if they let him get away with it he will keep pushing it until someone gets seriously hurt.

Agree, however had they issued a 5 second penalty which I think would have been fair to say the least Bottas would have finish above him. It’s those moments and his response to stewards flagging him for weaving when trying to break the slip stream that I can’t stand him.

Yeah it’s a bit strange. Ricciardo was marginally off Sainz last week for qualifying and could have been different race completely had he managed the first corner better. Hopefully with softs they are somewhere closer but it’s going to be interesting.

It was a messy first corner but I feel it was a tad unlucky for Ricciardo. He was on pace and on line for the first corner and Bottas was very slow. Ricciardo probably should have reacted better and avoided the contact but I thought Bottas may have moved ever so slightly to avoid Perez on the other side. Bit disappointed with Norris not pushing further up the field.

Delph. Top top performance, broke everything Spurs tried in the middle while he was composed and efficient on the ball. Big mention to Townsend and Gordon who put in massive efforts.

Officiating was as poor as I’ve seen though. Davies for them kicked out at Townsend non stop for no yellow card. Fair enough to give the penalty but should have played advantage because any shot on target was a goal - only to over turn it.

What a game. Unlucky not to win that. Can’t fault the lads apart from Holgate one bit. Turning point of the season hopefully
