  1. Massive game today, desperately need a win to keep the season alive . Lose and I can see us missing out on Europe all together
  2. How exactly is blaming Moyes' negativity for a defeat long after he has gone glorifying him?
  3. It's plausible. As the article says most of the squad are Moyse players and they played under him for a long time so it's entirely possible that he has left a lasting influence on them
  4. Nope your wrong again I don't love the man at all I just respect the job he did here,he has gone now so I have moved on I'm far more interested in Everton and Roberto than Moyes, you should try it some time I'm sure it would make your world a happier place In hope we get the win tomorrow to keep us both happy . I will be happy Everton won and you will be happy that Moyse lost I took your comparison to Allardyce and Pullus to mean United would come here looking to defend and get men behind the ball and there record on the road would suggest otherwise , the game is at Goodison so why do I need to explain their record at OT?
  5. Have you seen Uniteds record away from home this season or are you just erasing it from memory to suit your Moyes bashing ? They have won 11 times on the road, doesn't really sound like the type of side that sets out for a draw As for me ever supporting Man Utd don't talk such utter shite. I follow Everon home and away so I don't think my loyalty as a blue should be in question I won't be wasting my time heckling Moyes tomorrow because I would rather get behind Everton and Roberto if that makes me a bad fan in your eyes then so be it

  7. That's the point though we aren't in the CL next season and people are already spending the money ! It's a World Cup year so prices are going to be inflated There are too many unknown variables at this point in time to try and accurately predict what we are going to do next season
  8. I can't see how anybody can possibly predict how we will do next season at this moment in time Even if we don't get CL football we are going to need to bring in at least 5 players I the summer, and that's easier said than done in a World Cup year My main concern is who is going to be our strikers next season ? The thought of going with Naismith and Kone doesn't fill me with confidence I've no doubt that Roberto has his targets but until we actually see what the squad looks like its impossible to predict what kind of season we will have With regards to getting 4th yes it's still mathematically possible but I just can't see us getting enough points from our remaining games a bday I can't see Arsenal dropping points. They are seasoned campaigners at this and it would be a huge shock to see them falter now If we get 5th I still think that constitutes a great season for us
  9. If Moyes was half as bad a manager as Haf would have you believe then this would bean easy 3 points. Unfortunately he isn't and so it will be a really tough game We can't afford to defend as badly as we did against palace or it could get embarrassing United will be coming for the 3 points to help them overtake us and that might suit us better
  10. Your quite correct McCarthy not starting wasn't a tactical decision he was indeed carrying a muscle injury The eleven that were selected should have had enough about them to get a result but we totally bottled it Palace wanted it more and were physically stronger in every department
  11. Can't work how how to vote on my iPhone but I would have gone for Barkley Stones looked class for the most part but ultimately he cost us 2 goals so couldn't vote for him
  12. I honestly don't think fourth was ever a realistic target , we need to ensure we finish ahead of United and Spurs anything else is a bonus
  13. Ha ha I used to be Pompey based so can definitely vouch for the Pompey slappers
  14. To be fair a load of junior season ticket holders were invited down to Goodison last week to watch the players train I don't think anyone will ever be as full on as Myers was so probably a little unfair to compare them
  15. Lol not sure where you went on holiday but it sounds like the local ale was good stuff !
  16. I'm not disputing that it wa a great bit of business but the question was would he fit into our team and I think the answer is yes As peteo says his best position is as DM and I agree with him that he would be more consistent if he was played there week in week out. Does anyone think McCarthy and Barry would be churning out 7 out of 10 performances every week if they were asked to play out of position? I think we could do with a another DM because if one of those two got injured we have no cover . Gibson will never be fit enough and so if the price was right I would gladly take him back Don't get me wrong I wouldn't be interested at anywhere near the price they paid us for him
  17. I think this thread just goes to prove how fickle some Everton fans are It took him time to settle at Everton yet people want to write him off after half a season at United I think he would easily slot into our side as a DM and could be used behind the striker when we need a plan B, something we don't seem to have at the moment Having said that I think it would cost too much to bring him back, but at the right price it's a no brainier
