Abject garbage. Koeman sets us out to play negative football (at fucking home of all places), and we can't even stop them from playing. 

This format is brutal. It's really difficult to read/navigate.

Yeah. Koeman's tactics aside, we should remember that we're without the two primary focal points of our attacking play from the past few years. It's going to take time for everyone to gel.

We could use a player with pace and playmaking ability. But, that won't matter much if Koeman keeps up with these negative tactics. If all we're doing is trying to contain our opponents, we aren't going to be a well-oiled attacking machine. There's plenty of quality in the squad, and they're being utilized in ways that negate their abilities at the moment.

That's not the point. It's the roles and positions they were asked to play and the availability of players to link our play. Only to a certain point is it the actual players. But, you could've put just about anyone in there with the tactics Koeman set up and they would've failed just as miserably.

Just read about him - can play as a winger!!!! His wiki page makes for interesting reading with his dad working as an athletics coach and sister a world champion at high jump. He was also listed as one of 40 best young talents in world football in 2014 by The Guardian... Ryan Ledson was on the same list though!

In the first leg, he was their primary threat and caused us a lot of problems on his own. He was a bit anonymous in the second leg. But, he seems like he's got some potential.
