This might be a Gary Neville video, but after tonight, the first few minutes of this video are quite emotional. It’s not just us blues who will miss Goodison Park. Nights like tonight will be special memories for us all.

Gomes for me, certainly at the point he went off. After that I’d say Gana. Gomes being a midfielder who can pass the ball to other blue shirts, game changer.

I can see them announcing it on the Friday night. If they wanted to not be a fucking shambles they would have it concluded at least a week before, or ideally, before the end of April. Leaving it that close to the end of the season, they could be relegating a team by press release.

It doesn’t matter, a pay off can be spread and often is. But we tend to gardening leave rather than pay off anyway, most clubs do.

Because Dele’s contract with Everton is up, that doesn’t mean Everton’s contract with Spurs is up. The deal will be water tight.

The same regardless. Pay off his contract or keep paying him until his contract ends. It’ll cost us the same.
