  1. if hes getting games for liverpool he can hardly be shit
  2. i'd be very happy to see Crouch here, quality striker. can teach Jo something called determination! after yesterday, Jo can go back whenever he likes, needs to at least look like he gives a shit!
  3. surely if you win the most votes over the year you are to be crowned the winner? it shows you have been consistently on top of your game.
  4. i think rooney just gets one game for two yellows
  5. its all a sad ordeal, but if i had kids and i knew i was dying i'd happily make a mockery of my own life to make sure my kids had the best of everything in their lives. i dont think clifford can be blamed, he was hired by jade to make her as much money as he can for the kids. im sure she'll give money to the charities, and her children will now be financially secure. the kids were fathered by her ex i believe, surely they'll live with him. if she has died, RIP
  6. id give it to peter crouch, he showed more determination to get to them balls than saha and jo gave all game. not good enough. gave my vote to neville though, ran himself into the ground again today
  7. i didnt say it should be in london, but london is better suited than st james.have you tried getting to newcastle from liverpool? i did it with ten lads, not the easiest place. its not like they ahve on of them big roads, whats it called, motorway! or a direct train line i dont think? london is accessible from everywhere, as is birmingham, manchester and liverpool
  8. if your gunna travel to st james you might as well go to london. can get their much easier, and more of us could go. cardiff is a good shout though
  9. villa park and white heart would have been spot on
  10. never boo an individual, an booing gabby was terrible as hes only a kid, and hes been very good for them this season. i see no problem in booing at the final whistle, if the team doesnt even seem to be putting the effort in they deserve it. but if they give 100% as we expect then there shouldnt be a problem. (hibbo is a great example, not the best player, but always gives his best, should never be boo'd)
  11. if this is all true and real then it has to go down as a TT first! a rumour subjects father dropping info! if hes as good as we read then make sure we get him daddio!
  12. looked tidy against Real, cant see it though.
  13. im wondering if you watched the game? neville did play a solid game, again. dont recall fellaini playing better than neville. got lucky on two occasions. his control for his goal was fantastic, his finish was lucky, his ball for jo was lucky too. both of these with big deflections. and he might get hold of the ball, but ask him to pass it ten yards, its a massive challenge for him to pull that off. for the record im a big fellaini fan
  14. if anyone deserves it he does
  15. no, they never struggled for games. baines was injured when he first signed. when he got fit he still managed 29 games even with the great form of lescott. jagielka started his everton career in midfield, and played 49 games.
  16. jimmy, i dont need images in my head of stubbsy, a bat and archie. bad times
  17. panic buy. we needed another body he was available, and cheap. and he has a contract so cant exactly stop paying the lad. plenty of clubs buy players and they turn out to be crap when they are seen from close quarters, and dont get played. some are more expensive big time flops (veron, keane) others dont cost much so they arent as big a risk and tend to just blend away or move on.
  18. theres been stories about him having a baseball bat, pretty much a scare tactic id presume, never heard one of him hitting a player with it. might make him just seem a little more serious in one of them letting the team down at half time talks. have heard of players just thinking he was a knob though, just nothing from the kids.
  19. spurs have cudicini. blackburn have robinson, no thank you
  20. bored of tidying up your multi posts (but im dedicated so i'll carry on) anyway... ...jags first few games for us, when he was playing in midfield, i thought he was outstanding. against united at home him and neville played centre mid together. jags did the job of both men and did a great job, after that he played pretty poor in midfield. also this season in the couple of games in the middle he was pretty poor too. so im gunna go with, no i dont think hes a very good midfielder, he has played a few games there well. next... ...when he played in goal he did do well. but lets be sensible, hes not gunna start a game in goal is he, its not like its playing someone out of position. i see your point in why buy a player and not use him, but let me ask a question. do you remember per koldrup? proven international defender, paid good money for him. he didnt play, when they did throw him in what happened? villa stuck four on us. he was shite, maybe moyes has learnt to trust his proven players. now jags is playing out of a position where we have seen him excel, but its not like hes playing badly. hes just not hitting the highs he was at centre half. yobo is doing a good job since he came in too. but if you keep wanting to see this proven international play, just remember per koldrup. still a proven international and still playing top flight football for fiorentina.
  21. moutinho, ebanks-blake (back up for yak and saha) if we could find a left winger with pace, and defour would be nice (cant see us buying another liege player though) and maybe a solid defensive mid with proven prem experience, diop maybe.
