  1. very disappointed in harry. he worked damn hard to get pompy to where they are, and made them a really strong force in the premier league. it must only be money thats took him there, even though spurs are a bigger club than pompy, he got them in a much better state. i honestly thought he would stick with them until the end of his career. very disappointed today.
  2. i said the same thing many a time, until the trouble in town. id let the dabo thing go as im sure that player fight on the training ground everyday, maybe it went a bit far, but the assault in town really brings the player, and his club, into negative publicity and sets a very bad example. two years ago id have loved the lad to be in a blue shirt, but he'd have to do a lot to make me feel that way again
  3. Diarra and Johnson would both be fantastic signings
  4. expect people to make comments along the lines of that piece by Deloitte has been edited by KEIOC to make the club seem stupid.
  5. always a pleasure mac another very good result for them today, as i type this they are joint top of the table!
  6. a lot of people know im a big joey barton fan, on the pitch, off the pitch there isnt much to like, but i really hope he can turn his life around and then when hes has a few years off the drink and out of the cells and the front pages he can start giving back to the organisations that have tried, and failed, to help him.
  7. i was close to fellaini, was very useful today and bagged one, but jags was once again the dog at the back to keep us in the game
  8. never thought much of fightstar, they've been around for a few years now and still not made it "big" i think they'll always be that lad from busted trying to get acclaim
  9. i still dont think he can be blamed for the exit, at the end of the day he was a kid, our bank balance and paul stretford will always be to blame for me
  10. he'll be fine when TC gets back
  11. got to agree, think he'll be around for a while, but i think he'll end up at the back when he matures further.
  12. still one of the best moments as a blue in my years
  13. dont dislike him personally, i actually like hearing his stories about the boys pen (get the same ones from my dad) and he is a blue without question. but as with mac and mark, dont think he wants to give away his prized possession, and i think this has hindered selling the club before now. not happy about the many lies we've had from him over the years, mainly FSF and Kirkby. but for me, i hate that he hired Keith Wyness, he is my all time favourite twit.
  14. one thing i will do in this debate, is to quote Ronny Goodlass, talks a lot of sense in this interview. "It's good news for the club as it ends all the uncertainty," Goodlass told BBC Radio Merseyside. "We need to put some silverware on the table, there has to be an improvement." "The question mark against David Moyes for the last six years is that he hasn't brought any silverware to the club. "I think in the next couple of years he has to do that."
  15. im guessing west ham have stopped selling their kits due to the whole stock being covered in XL, and as the players dont wear that anymore tis prob not considered a replica shirt anymore. the branding thing has to come down to merchandising, if we were selling nike track suits and jackets, even trainers nowdays, umbro and le coq cant compete. personally not bothered about all as i only tend to get the home shirt, but if we want to make more money i think a deal along the lines of kitbag/nike would really help.
  16. eric clapton unplugged - when your down and out kings of leon - mollies chamber
  17. is it just one end that doesnt go to the roof? i sort of like that thou. whats the capacity? edit, bit of info. holds 50,399 finished in 2003 and only cost 98m euros, what a bargain. probably as much as kirkby is costing. some good pics here http://www.fcporto.pt/English/stadium_gallery.asp construction pics too
  18. again, you dont give a rats ass but still had the need to justify and give one back. Huntelaar is a quality player as it is, if he can learn from them three he'll be in demand even more than he is already. ive seen suarez before, but not none of the others i dont think.
  19. surely you must have more info for this?
  20. no, he is the manager. does not need to be on the board, thats for business people, not football people
  21. you obviously do give a rats ass or you wouldnt have commented would you? i'll hold my hand up, i am pathetic, nail me to the fucking cross! get a life are you joking? give them a few years and they will be back dominating europe again, that is one hell of a team they have there, the football they should be playing!!!
  22. i love the one on toffeeweb, is that skemptons? cant remember i like the gfe one as it shows it all looking pretty slick, but the other one is just purely iconic on the interior to me. like a small san siro
  23. love porto's design, that would be sweeeet!
  24. spent the last few days playing fifa 09, awesome! game play has much improved and graphics and detail are superb. adidas live is a cool touch to the game too. read a few reviewers saying fifa has its crown back from pes this year. if anyone has it and knows how to change squad numbers in manager mode please tell me. i signed moutinho and he went number 2 and hibbo is 11. pissed me off no end
