why some people are wanting da silva to play really baffles me! you dont put a relatively untried player in against opposition like spurs. i saw him play in the friendlies, but he still shouldnt be a starter imo. if we're taking a striker out for a midfielder id be hoping it would be an attack minded player

the other players statements on the matter i'll take as spin, but stubbsy is one of us. most of the others wont give a crap if we move, if we make more profit they get more wages. stubbsy wont be playing when any new stadium opens, i really hope his words are geniune and the club havent bullied him into this.

the difference with that bill is that the club are biased towards one opinion, we as a group should be impartial. like i said in the staff room, thats only my opinion on it anyway.

i dont necessarily think a centre midfielder, a midfielder of any position will do, wether that be a winger, centre, left right, as long as its a midfielder that can add to our creativity. also a striker would be nice, but we need someone else to create the chances for whoever comes in upfront. but we may have that player already in pienaar. from what i heard over the weekend yakubu talk is a crowd pleaser while the vote is going, but if they are willing to sell we will be willing to buy. fernandes is a real posibility, if a deal can be struck where we dont get fucked over a barrell
