  1. Darren Bent? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/200...15875-21085687/
  2. True but also I think Ferguson & Wenger have chosen to be more lavish in their praise because they know it'll wind up (and contradict) Rafa. Still good to hear. Tough to see us getting anything this afternoon, specially if our pretend strikers are out as well as our real ones , and holding out for (as you say) 98 minutes or more against Berbatov, Ronaldo and the rest would be miraculous, even with our defence playing as well as it is. Have to say I'll be tipping a home win in the Anusol ....live in hope though.
  3. Decided against one of the local delicacies in Zakynthos a few years back...the top one, yum .
  4. So htiting wthi a mahher wil sought mi hadrrive, Thaxks axti :wub_anim: .
  5. Fellaini a doubt as well as TC... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/cahi...ness-worry.html
  6. Surprised at him really. Still a bit early to be thinking of his pension fund, which is the only reason anybody would willingly throw their career down the black (and white) hole that is St James' Park. Waste of a decent player.
  7. Slanderous lies....and my wife will fully back me on this...I'll just go and find her...
  8. My dad was a ref...not a great one because he was colour blind (guessed and got lucky during the colour vision test in the exam) . Sent me off once <_< . Don't think Wiley's worse than any other though .
  9. Old news....we talked about this a couple of days back. Bollocks then and still bollocks... http://www.toffeetalk.com/forums/index.php...&hl=lescott
  10. It was Carragher who was famous for that.....Owen may have done as well but I've not heard that one before. For TC £25/£30m is ridiculous to even consider....maybe if he was six years younger he'd be worth £20m, but the reality now would be about £10m. Going nowhere though.
  11. Changing direction again, but I'll ask in here so it gets noticed. I'm scrapping an old PC. If I take out the hard drive (and pummel it with a hammer) is it safe to dump it. I'm thinking no-one can get any passwords etc from any other bit of it...is that right?
  12. The VDM countdown talk reminded me of an old post by the much missed Goldfish Memory (where are you Liam?). Bears posting again in my view... If you are sitting next to someone (on a train, bus or plane) who irritates you follow these instructions: 1. Quietly and calmly open up your laptop case. 2. Remove your laptop. 3. Start up 4. Make sure the guy who is annoying you, can see the screen. 5. Close your eyes and tilt your head up to the sky and move your lips like you are praying. 6. THEN HIT THIS LINK
  13. In Paisley's nine seasons in charge, Liverpool won six League titles and finished second twice, won 3 League Cups, 1 UEFA Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 5 Charity Shields and 3 European Cups. He remains the only man in history to coach three European Cup-winning sides (1977, 1978 & 1981). His success was honoured with six Manager of the Year awards. Only the FA Cup eluded Paisley, although Liverpool would be runners-up in 1977 and beaten semi-finalists in 1979 and 1980. Nice research Reg.
  14. Assuming he'll be released on the final potential day of our season, FA Cup Final day (May 30th) I've added a little something to my sig to make you happy EW. If Louis can sort out something more spectacular I'll remove it .
  15. Crosses over a bit but does some great blues stuff live....Walter Trout likes him a lot . Have a look if you get the chance...I went to school with him, good bloke .
  16. I'd resent that if it weren't for the fact that Bill's 102 . Was always a right winger in my playing days but I'll happily shore up the defence....less running. Who's providing the sick bags?
  17. We all like the blues....that's why we're here isn't it ? Oh...wait a minute...I get it . One of the finest musical nights of my life was watching Muddy Waters supporting (and playing with) Eric Clapton in 1978...George Harrison joined in also. I'd recommend people invent a time machine and nip back for a look . Incidentally Taxi....ever seen or heard of this guy http://www.larrymiller.co.uk/
  18. itunes current free download... Reasons not to be an Idiot-Frank Turner ...only had one listen so far but I like it. Bit like Billy Bragg (That's high praise from me ).
  19. Nah....I was nice to you in the "fantasy stadium" thread so I had to restore the balance dark mate .
  20. Wow! Big news....would never have known that... ....if he hadn't played in goal for them against Stoke the day before yesterday .
