  1. Don't suppose there's a vid of the after match party is there Louis ? Just a thought.
  2. Don't give a shite about the brand or logo, could come from Primark for all I care (er, well perhaps that's a little too extreme), I just want an Everton shirt as opposed to an Umbro shirt that's been made in blue and had an Everton badge stuck on.

Goal for Pip!?!? Rarer than him winning a major trophy (eight goals and nine trophies before today) and as shocking as Haley's Comet at the Battle of Hastings !!! Nice win though (according to the stats at least), eleven shots on target, nine off and nine corners. Sounds straightforward enough . Nice little gap to seventh place as well as long as Pompey don't beat the Arse.

Off out now for family day with five children of various sizes plus two grandkids, fortunately at daughters house so chaos doesn't intrude here . Will have to sneak out to the car to get updates on the radio 'cos I think any request to put on the TV might be unpopular . Need a win and we should (again) have too much for these, even short handed. 3-1, don't give a fuck who scores, though Lescott would be nice....not got one for a bit. Happy Boxing day all!
  5. Don't think even after Saturday you'll get many people arguing with that Louis. Shorts have gone right back to Stanley Matthews now haven't they.....look at the size of those , almost like those grotesque things boxers wear nowadays .

Slightly worrying . David Moyes has revealed there are doubts over Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill for the Boxing Day clash with Bolton Wanderers. Arteta missed Sunday's defeat to Manchester United because of illness, whilst the Aussie goalscorer at Old Trafford had to be withdrawn from the action late in the second period after picking up a knock. The Blues' chief admits both are now doubtful for the visit of Gary Megson's men. He told evertonfc.com: "Tim took a knock and we had to take him off and we will have to see how he is for the next game. "Mikel has been sick for a day and a bit and hopefully he will be back for Boxing Day." If they fail to prove their fitness they will join Leighton Baines, Alan Stubbs and Leon Osman on the injured list. Everton from: Howard, Wessels, Hibbert, Neville, Jagielka, Lescott, Yobo, Valente, Arteta, Cahill, Carsley, Gravesen, Pienaar, McFadden, Yakubu, Johnson, Vaughan, Anichebe.
  7. Grovelling apology for his mistake would be nice....but I could live without it .
  8. Thanks for your support Ian...finished now . Night all.
  9. And to you Ian and everyone else. Have a good day... Pray a lot and drink in moderation .
  10. So begins the annual "trying to get over-excited small person to go to fucking sleep before three in the morning" ritual. I'll be glad when he's big enough to drink himself into oblivion Christmas eve.....not really . Gonna be a long night again (specially as I haven't wrapped any of his presents yet ).
  11. No reason why you would have done Josh, you didn't sign up 'til after it was posted . It's an awesome vid....and maybe the "sick" part is lost in translation between generations, probably means something entirely different to what I understand it to mean .
  12. Wouldn't call it sick. Been posted before...>>>HERE<<<
  13. Not especially bothered about the logo. Quite liked the shirt when I first saw it, the problem is that it's the same basic design as all Umbro. Adidas carries pretty much the same problem. The Aberdeen shirt looks like a one-off design, like the ManU shirt. That's what I'd like....have great attachment now to our Puma Kejian era shirts because they were unique.
  14. Essential Billy Bragg. Must I Paint You a Picture? Music to wrap presents by <_< .
  15. Absolutley! And I like that shirt, pisses me right off seeing us in "one style fits all" Umbro.
  16. Fuck me you changed your mind there in the course of a sentence Josh. 1. Good riddance to him 2. He's our saviour ...nothing like keeping your options open . Personally I'd like to keep him but if people offer silly money (£5m+) then I'd let him go.
  17. Just seen it on MOTD. Think I'm going to cry .
  18. Agreed. It's small consolation but ther's still a lot of positives to be taken from today. The article JD posted was a good one....finished like this.. Their resilience was apparent at the back where Moyes praised the central pairing of Phil Jagielka and Joseph Yobo. 'They played exceptionally well today and Joleon Lescott, who we know is a terrific centre half, had to play at left back.' He also made an outstanding goal-line clearance to deny Rooney, when he chipped Tim Howard. Ferguson, meanwhile, was impressed by one of the centre-backs. 'The boy Jagielka, he must have got the last touch five or six times on really difficult crosses,' he said. Without the injured duo of Mikel Arteta and Leon Osman, Moyes fielded a depleted midfield, yet they still possess a threat. Cahill's ability to sniff out an opening was evident again as the Australian has the attitude of a natural goalscorer, revelling in scruffy strikes and making umpteen advances in the hope of a half-chance. He had a bona fide opportunity today and took it, rising above Patrice Evra to head in Pienaar's cross, becoming just the third visitor to breach the United defence in the Premier League. Everton spent much of the subsequent hour on the back foot, with Moyes admitting: 'There's no way you'll come here and dominate possession against the champions. We played well enough to get something out of the game. The next bit is to beat those top four teams and we can do that.' They can. This is Everton's strongest squad for two decades. Maintaining a challenge on four fronts is something that has eluded most teams, United included, but Moyes' men are managing it. Should Chelsea or Liverpool slip up, they could be the beneficiaries.
  19. ManU getting worried, get Vic on and he can do his Euro supersub thing !!
  20. First objective sorted I reckon. That was to avoid losing by six goals that would have dropped us to seventh. Gonna be a long half hour though I think.
  21. newsnow , would never buy/read a Murdoch rag unless I found a link to a particular article elsewhere. I resent the accusation .
  22. Think you speak for all of us there Mark !!
  23. Was pleased with ManU getting two early ones Bill but he's evened it up now .....you could be right. Or maybe he'll make a name for himself by sending off a couple of reds . Bollocks!
  24. Just logged on to post that myself Louis. Yer beat me to it....it's a good one.
  25. You must have trust issues Zed, sounds perfectly plausible to me, and my friends the Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela agree with me .
