I think at the right price he could be a good signing but i don't see him as a first choice centre mid so would he leave united for the possibility of not being first choice with Everton? I don't think so.

I can't see him improving, infact he's detiorated if anything since his first loan spell. A loan sounds good to me, give him chance to try and get back to the quality he showed in that first stint of performances and then snap him up in January (if we can).

2 of those Championship players have been our best players over the past few seasons ... Lescott/Cahill. Don't undersestimate the usefulness of bringing these types of players in. I'd love to see the likes of Arshavin coming here but you've got to be realistic mate.
