  1. Gonna be at work and can't watch (new job don't want to ruffle feathers yet). COYB
  2. Haf so you're saying during the eto'o mutiny, barry Howard Lukaku and the like stuck with him so he's backing them? Makes sense. Those 3 are first names on the sheet. I'm guessing the off and on play of mirallas means he was with eto'o. Not sure who else though.
  3. We're those the days when we were linked to good player we knew we'd never get? All we are linked with now is Wigan players or some old washed up player. Ho hum
  4. Nope you're spot on. I view it like this. In European classical music there was Mozart and Debussy and Beethoven, but most of the really good stuff was separated by hundreds of years. Same with rock, jazz, r&b. 60's and 70's were an explosion of creativity and talent, won't see another for another 50-100 years.
  5. How does that work? No sales tax or state tax? They just gouge you on property and estate tax or not enough people live there to make it significant?
  6. And that was their best lineup. Simply stunning how wenger just seems to fold in the big games.
  7. Yeah sales tax, Louisiana the republicans paradise, tax the poor to death while the rich run free. Disgusting place, I paid way way way less in liberal socialistic California (that's what the conservatives call it), it's hilariouus. What do you pay in Georgia?
  8. They're losing 1-0 at the half. Hilarious. A Ligue 1 side without their best striker in falcao and has 34 old berbatov. Arsene should just quit.
  9. Paddock wins. His press conference Howard is starting because he needs to get match fitness (why not play him u-21 then?? Ffs) and you need experience in Europe. Bull shit on all accounts. Joel needs to call his agent and get a move in the summer, poor guy, 3 clean sheets and he's replaced for a geriatric keeper who's save percentage is equivalent to the local tax rate (10% where I live).
  10. Spot on on all accounts, especially his lack of defense.
  11. Why? Could be good business. If he's willling to pay a little bit, we already have baines and garbutt, this could free up some cash to sign a young rb.
  12. We have such a good back 4, we need Someone to use that as a strength. Jags stones Coleman baines, the only teams with better are maybe man city and Chelsea. If we played quick attacking football and were able to counter with Barkley mirallas Lennon and Lukaku, we could really be nice. Back 4 defends and we hit them on the counter. We have the tools, just we pass sideways all game and play slower than Stevie pienaar runs.
  13. Why can't people just go to a match and cheer on their side? If you have to make fun of the other side, can't you be classy about it? These hooligan idiots. I'd love to see them hit upside the head to where they are mentally handicapped and see how they like it then. Not so funny.
  14. Yeah have patience guys seriously no need to worry, it's just like Wigan see, we won the trophy it ended up alright, oh shit wait well ah nevermind
  15. Haha fair enough! My point romey is more pointed at Roberto. I'm happy to play the same 11 every match with a couple rotations, but he bought a big squad and said we needed all these players to compete. Well he never plays them. So my 11 is just play the f'ing lads on the bench, they're eating wages and we might find a decent player in one of them. If he wants to just play starting 11 all the time, why sign them? Does me in romey, really wasting the team money. It's like a haf analogy. Here's my best shot. It's like he was so poor with Wigan that once he hit the transfer budget lottery with Everton he's blew it all because he's not used to managing size able wages and transfer fees.
  16. The more I think about that match after the young boys match I get furious. How can he not translate a big European win to a win over a championship side? How can there be no tactics anymore, it's like we're brazil 78 just throwing 11 out there and hoping for the best. The sideways passing has gotten to me, especially in the final third. What happened to shots on the outside of the box? Mirallas, barry, Barkley all had a couple each last year, haven't seen but maybe one shot a game now. He's got to learn that premier teams put 11 behind the ball and tiki taka barca aren't gonna beat that physical type of play. Shit even Chelsea do that! Gotta pull out the old tactics book and learn some attacking football. This possession bullshit leads to so few attacks, it's anemic. The guys are scared to attack the box. At least with moyes baines would bomb, link with pienaar and them two would attack the box with a pass or cross and hope someone was in there. Now we just piddle around and hope a miracle happens. Ross has regressed, shit I'm angry. We better whoop some Swiss ass this Thursday before the remove Roberto campaign starts. He promised beautiful football, we got robbed.
  17. Knowing Everton we will play like Barcelona and draw and get false hope:
  18. It's a sad day, I have joined the doom and gloom crew. I'll finally say it, Roberto has it wrong. We only play 4231, no light of the day of 352 or 433 Anymore, one dimensional sideways football, favorite players over talent. But I agree with haf, can't fire him because the prospects out there are dire. If we could get slaven bilic is say go ahead but BK has to get a fire lit under RM ass. I agree with paddock on the fortress goodison too, this used to be a bitch of a stadium to play in, now it's like that away side is at home. Fans booing our own player, yelling at Ross Barkley our brightest prospect, and we pass sideways and backwards with a bunch of over 32 years old wash ups. We've become a bottom side and its pissed me off.
  19. Yeah great bargain, great player. One of the ones you don't have to worry too much about, seems humble and just to play no frills football. Don't think he will be here forever, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts.
  20. Agreed paddock which to me is the worst mistake. Being a man means being able to admit you're wrong no matter how big you are. Moyes had issues with this and it looks as if Martinez does as well. Makes me furious. I yearn for a no bullshit manager who plays guys regardless of anything other than form.
