  1. This one (unlike some others) I won't believe until an official announcement from the club. Too many things to go wrong.
  2. IN: Pickford Klaassen OUT: Kone Cleverley McAleny LOAN IN: LOAN OUT: YOUTH: U-23s EXTENSIONS: Charsley Broadhead Hewelt Duffus Jones Dyson Kiersey Lavery EXTENSIONS (since January): Pennington DCL Mirallas Davies Coleman

  5. Mr. glass half full is completely glass half empty right now. It's the same old Everton. We cannot even sign a free agent backup RB, that seemingly no one else wants, in a timely fashion. WTF. This is shaping up to be a brutal summer.

  7. Mixed reviews are what you get from backup RBs. On a free he could be valuable in the Europa League. Kenny would be better served to go on loan to Champ side so we need cover and this allows Holgate to shift to CB when Coleman returns.
  8. Fully on board with this. Statement of intent and nostalgia at the same time. His wages won't suck the life out of the club anymore and RK won't be bullied into playing him if he isn't effective. What he brings behind the scenes will win us a few games this season just by changing the mentality of the team.

  11. This will be one awful lot of subs OUT: Stek, McCarthy, Coleman, Bolasie, Mori, DCL, Lookman, Kenny, Dowell, Lennon Starters: Joel Holgate Williams Jags Baines Schneiderlin Gana Davies Barkley Rom Mirallas Bench: Hewelt Barry Besic Valencia Pennington Kone ???
  12. No-brainer at 17m but that price seems too good to be true. Could sell joel for 5-8m so net it's a tremendous deal.
  13. Chelsea - 34 pld - 78 pts - 23 pts clear Spurs - 34 pld - 74 pts - 19 pts clear Liverpool - 34 pld - 66 pts - 2 pts from 4 games to go clear City - 34 pld - 66 pts - 2 pts from 4 games to go clear Utd - 34 pld - 65 pts - A Arsenal, A Spurs, A Southampton, H Palace (3 pts to clinch place above us) Arsenal - 33 pld - 60 pts - H Utd, A Southampton, A Stoke, H Sunderland, H EFC (8 pts to clinch place above us) Everton - 35 pld - 58 pts - A Swans, H Watford, A Arsenal The mountain gets taller with each passing week but 6th is still in reach and 5th could be as well if you are an optimist of the highest order. EFC win and Ars/Utd draw and things get a little more interesting. As others have said thrilled with 7th but why not have something to cheer for over the next few weeks.
  14. What's left: Chelsea - 33 pld - 78 pts - 20 pts clear Spurs - 33 pld - 74 pts - 16 pts clear Liverpool - 34 pld - 66 pts - A Watford, H Southampton, A West Ham, H Boro City - 32 pld - 64 pts - H Utd, A Boro, H Palace, H Leicester, H WBA, A Watford Utd - 32 pld - 63 pts - A City, H Swans, A Arsenal, A Spurs, A Southampton, H Palace Arsenal - 32 pld - 60 pts - A Spurs, H Utd, A Southampton, A Stoke, H Sunderland, H EFC Everton - 34 pld - 58 pts - H Chelsea, A Swans, H Watford, A Arsenal Not looking good but win for City today, us and Spurs on Sunday, would really stir the pot.

Come on Boro.
  16. Gibbs now third choice. Good enough for Everton? Should be reasonable price

Still remains incredibly unlikely but it's so refreshing to be in April and have something to play for after the past two seasons...
