  1. Rather simplistic. It's about getting 6 points not 3 or 4. Assuming rotation reduces you from full strength - RK needs to find two lineups that can win. Does going 100% against hull and say 60% against Southampton cost you points when if you played both at 80% you could win both?
  2. Southampton game very much a factor here. Do you 'rotate' the squad at Hull or home to Southampton. Difficult decision really dont envy RK. Hull: Stek/Joel Holgate Jags Mori Baines Barry Barkley Clev Deulofeu Rom Valencia Get Valencia off after 60 so he can start Monday. Davies could use Gueye's influence. Barkley seems to play better away from home. Southampton: Stek/Joel Holgate Williams Mori Coleman Gueye Davies Baines Lennon Valencia Mirallas
  3. Age is THE issue. Too old and too young. Over 30: Baines Williams Jags Kone Barry Stek 27-29: Gibson Mirallas Lennon 29, Coleman 28, Bolasie Clev Gueye 27 24-26: Joel McCarthy Oviedo Besic Niasse Mori 22-23: Deulofeu Barkley Lukaku Browning Pennington under 21: Davies Dowell DCL Holgate Grant Galloway Look at how awful 24-26 is. Unacceptable. That is the lifeblood of most clubs. Cant rely on over 30 and under 23 talent to be consistent winners.
  4. Most are rightfully skeptical after 3 yrs of Martinez but you cannot start judging Moshiri/Koeman/Walsh until this time next year. In my eyes top half this year can be defined as success. We all want more for the club obviously but this investment has always been a long term build. It's not oil money from the middle east or russia, and FFP is in place now. This is a legitimate re-build of the club from the inside out. Having said that if we look like this a year from now ill be absolutely fuming.
  5. Equally awful Coleman Jags Williams Baines Gueye Cleverley Deulofeu Barkley Dowell Lukaku Assuming McCarthy out injured. Valencia exhausted. Wouldnt start Davies away to Leicester - could play at Hull or home to Southampton Mirallas total waste. Barry doesnt suit Koemans style at least Cleverley runs.
  6. GETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN YOU BEAUTIFUL MOTHERFUCKER
  7. WHERE WHERE WHERE HAS THIS EFFORT BEEN. It's not a complicated game.
  8. Where has this work rate been the last two months?
  9. Stek Coleman Jags Williams Baines Gana McCarthy Deulofeu Valencia Barkley Lukaku
  10. Winless in last 12 derbies. 5 losses and 7 draws. Last win Oct 17, 2010.
  11. I support RK but can I just say for a moment I really really miss David Moyes. I'm starting to sound like a broken record but I firmly believe managers are guilty of overthinking the game. If you are less talented than your opposition I support passion and attitude above trying to gain a tactical advantage. Say what you want about him I miss the feeling of turning on the TV every single week knowing I was going to see effort and determination. Most important thing to me as a supporter. Look at what it means to Conte, Klopp, Mourinho and Guardiola. Perhaps Arsenal never win anything because Arsene isnt passionate enough. Hated RM's one armed fist in the air, really hate Koemans expressionless face. I want Moyes tearing up and down the sideline. On that note if things don't work out for RK I want Eddie Howe so fucking badly. Bournemouth are must watch.
  12. Need to go in Jan: Kone, Gibson, Clev, McCarthy, Niasse, McAleny, Rodriguez, Grant, Garbutt Waste of everything. Time, space, money. Needs in Jan: LCB, CDM, RM, ST Can't have it all, priorities. Van Dijk, Schneiderlin, Depay, Shane Long. Done.
  13. Stek Coleman Williams Mori Baines Gana Barry McCarthy Barkley Mirallas Lukaku Absorb Ighalo/Deeney and use Barkley to find Mirallas and Lukaku in the channels.
  14. For the most part they aren't his players. Gueye has been our best player, Stek probably second. Both RK signings. Williams/Bolasie done ok. It takes time for a manager's tactics to sink in, it takes time to overhaul an aging squad, it takes time to replace mediocre with good. January is a shit box time to buy. This season's goal is Europa League, plain and simple. That is possible, dont ruin the financial future in January.
  15. Firm believer in, it's not who you play it's when you play them. West Ham were in great form coming in, needless to say we were not. That's a big three points and clean sheet. We can go to Chelsea this week with confidence. Someone rile up that gutless chicken Costa and get him sent off.
  16. PL season is so long it's important to break down into segments. 15 pts through 8 games is very good. Not great but very good. Next 5: A Burnley H West Ham A Chelsea H Swans A Southampton Rest of 2016: H Utd A Watford H Arsenal H Shite A Leicester A Hull It's been mentioned how difficult December is going to be. Oct/Nov paramount. Normally don't rate these early games with such importance but if we want top 4 we need to win 4 of the next five. December presents three tough home games and three sneaky away games. All have the potential for dropped points. Utd doesnt have Europa that week, same goes for Arsenal/Leicester with Champs League. What do we need next 5? What's a realistic point total for December? I'd say 10.
