  1. Doucs has to finish that. We’ve got them rattled here
  2. Another huge chance… let’s keep at them
  3. Good chance that off the corner, probably should be doing better there Dom
  4. Feel nervous with Young on a yellow (again) now
  5. Yeah mate, I’ve got all the house lights set to a dark blue & I’m watching the F1 now. Truly jealous of those at Goodison today, going to be an immense atmosphere.
  6. Absolutely buzzing for this. 2:30am kickoff, not sure if I’m going to be able to sleep before it!
  7. Love that response, easy to forget he is on loan.
  8. Hard call to make given McNeil & Harrison were injured at the start of the season. He has been in the squad almost every week though. I do agree however, he needs more minutes & a loan can always be revisited. Right now he is depth that we may need if we are to get a couple of injuries.
  9. Yeah I still think he can offer something throughout the season. We aren't stacked for wingers really but I would hope he gets some game time towards the last half of the season if we are safe as I think there is a decent little player in there.
  10. Watched the game and we actually looked quite good. Dobbin was a constant threat. The young lad on the other wing Heath looks tricky (little bit hit and miss). McAllister, Djankpata & Campbell all looked good as well. Good minutes for Coleman, Godfrey & Keane as well.
  11. Our club voted no fyi - probably because we will be looking to do similar with 777
  12. I said to go a bit more progressive when we have our league status confirmed…
  13. Exactly, at this rate we could have our premier league status confirms with plenty of games to go. At that stage I would like to see Dyche adapt a more progressive style but for now it’s a needs must situation. Feel like we are looking up the table rather than below it, which is refreshing in itself.
  14. Myko for me & it was probably his toughest performance defensively but his willingness to get forward is great. Credit to him as it looks like he has really worked on it.
  15. I said early I wouldn’t judge Dyche on the games we didn’t have a striker but since we signed Beto (DCL became available a few games later) we have played 12 - W7 D2 L3. Improvement
  16. Honestly I can’t understand it. I hope for Young’s sake he has an incident free game after his last 2. Going to be a tough game here but we can take 3 points from them
  17. I want us to see us win everything mate. Firstly, I don't think many expected Eddie Howe to do such a good job with Newcastle but he has. There are certain things about Dyche that piss me off tactically but I also understand reason behind why he makes some of his decisions. I agree but I think we need to have a solid foundation & I am not sure we will have that by the end of next year. I think we need to identify a clear direction in the style of which we play & consistently recruit both players & managers that will compliment that. If we finish this season 14th and then the next say 10th under Dyche, I think it would be mad to move him on based on that however I would also expect us to have a shortlist of managers who are deemed suitable to come in at anytime (now included) to progress us further.
  18. Such a manager will only succeed off the foundation Dyche provides though - It could be Moyes -> Martinez all over. For me, the improvement is clear to see. It hasn't and still isn't pretty but its effective & required. By the end of next season I would like to hope we are in a position to see what Dyche can do with a solid team & how progressive he can be, he will have at least earnt that right. We will never be a tika taka footballing team under him but I can see a defensively organised / pressing team who flood forward on the counter attack ruthlessly & I am happy with that style.
  19. I'm back on days so my stupidity is slightly reduced mate! Only slightly though.
  20. I've cooled down a bit after the final whistle & the disappointment of losing 2 points so late in the game has soften a bit. Monumental effort from the lads & I agree with the points about our defensive structure - we look proper solid & have done for weeks. That is reason alone to feel good about the direction we are going, also we are getting a good variety of goal scorers. 1 point against Brighton is not a bad result & we are pulling ourselves away from a relegation battle this year nicely. We will only get better from here as well. Also, delighted for Myko to get the goal - deserves it and has been very good recently.
  21. He got away with it at West Ham but it has bitten us today. Had to bring some fresh legs on - 2 points dropped.
