  1. I truly can't wait to see Onana gone and *potentially* how much money we can get from him
  2. This has all the makings of a 2-page long matchday thread here. Nothing to play for, end of the season
  3. Crazy. And in the last month or so, I honestly think they've had four or five games where they've scored the equalizer in stoppage time to avoid defeat Edit: yep I was right. That was their EIGHTH equalizer in the final 5 minutes this season, twice as many as any other team in Europe's top 5 leagues
  4. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but won't that put us into administration?
  5. You guys wanna just pool our money and TT can buy this mess of a club?
  6. Oh he absolutely will be out of our price range. I can't see us spending more than 10m on any individual player
  7. Will be shocked if we win this one, but COYB!
  8. https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/40063986/everton-goodison-park-premier-league-adversity-dyche-ogden Good read
  9. I'm too lazy to read through the last two pages to get caught up, can someone summarize in 3 words for me?
  10. Be absolutely gutted for him if he misses the Euros
  11. There's no point in going back and forth on this, with both you and Haf. You two have your opinions, 95% of everyone else on here has ours I'm a realist, and that's why I view this season as a success. My sights weren't set higher because of what this club has been through the last few years and will continue to go through. With the absolute dumpster-fire that this club has been, I think I quite rightly am allowed to have a pretty low bar for what a "successful" season is
  12. I guess this is the part that baffles me about this point of view. We get hit with the largest points deduction in EPL history, and yet we still secure safety with 3 games to spare and will likely finish higher than we did the previous 2 seasons. How is that not a success?
  13. Haf, I see your points. I do. The general style of play for large chunks of the season has been hard to watch, he did lose the dressing room at one point, and he is stubborn to a fault a lot of the time. However, I would count this season as a wild success. Romey just posted in the longest thread, but when you consider everything happening off the pitch and even STILL we're in 15th with 3 games to spare? He deserves all the praise for what he's accomplished
  14. All things considered, a relatively comfortable win. Safety assured, 4 wins from 5, 2 more winnable games coming up. UTFT indeed
  15. Godfrey has also done very well these last few games. Thrilled for him. Onana you ding dong, you're off in the summer
  16. Chermiti has done well. His hold up play is obviously not at DCL's level, but for his age it will only get better. His link up work is good as well, excited to see more of him
  17. He's got a wand of a right foot, a real wizard with the ball at his feet.
  18. That's a great finish as well
  19. Get the fuck in. Gana the goal machine!!
