Yep. I certainly didn't expect to start this well.

Possibly the biggest challenge for Koeman is getting the best out of Ross every week. Ross was very poor today; I wanted him removed at half. But Koeman's already tried that; doing it again probably wouldn't have had the same effect.

We were better in the second half than in the first half. But I wouldn't call the second half "good" as much as I'd call it "not a total disaster."

No one played like they wanted to play today. Really bad all the way around. Have to hope that Koeman gets it sorted before Friday. And I don't know what to say about Ross. I was terrified for him every time he got the ball. He has not been very good and when a team is pressing like that you need a CM comfortable on the ball.

I hope that Koeman reminds the squad how embarrassing this fixture was for Everton last season. Use that in the team talk before the match for some extra motivation. I trust that garbage like that won't be tolerated under Ronald.

I am 100% in love with this manager. He's honest and real. His handling of Ross has been perfect. Ross needs to be pushed and held accountable. Actually most players both need and want that from their coach. It seems so simple but it is hard. He's a breath of fresh air after Roberto.

Well done today. The back line has been very impressive so far this season. Feeling joy after a match is wonderful and a welcome change after last season.

I agree with this. I also don't really rate Sissoko so I'm not upset that we probably aren't getting him. Some perspective is important. We've signed three key contributors who have been pretty good so far. That's a lot more than nothing.

Another 3 points if we have European ambitions. I am growing into some confidence in this side. So for me, this is 3 points.

Watched at the pub with a few friends. Thought we were the better side throughout. Score line flattered Stoke. True, Ross needed to finish that opportunity, but still pleased to have 7 points through 3.
