  1. I'm (almost) certain he won't, and don't think there's any legitimate link. But...if the Chelsea link is real, CL football might not be his highest priority. He's 25 and only a few years from lower leagues, ensuring his future might come first.
  2. This would be a huge get, it would surely go along way to the "statement of intent" purchase.
  3. Would rather Mata, but would be happy with Gylfi. Quality player I reckon.
  4. This highlights package is decent as well. I like him, despite knowing very little about him. Still only 27 and seems cheap, at the quoted 10m price. https://youtu.be/TkjotP6N7Y0
  5. Ok, I was a bit drunk when I first watched it but...from around the 2.15 min on (haven't watched all 9min). Looks to have good close control and quality passing. https://youtu.be/NSiqA7_28Os
  6. Ruben Neves is apparently on the Market, really hope we have a crack at him. Quality young player.
  7. Only seen the highlights, but he looked a little slow. Would he be quick enough as a lone shield to the back four?
  8. Would rather any or all of Schneiderlin, Kovacic, and/or Tielemans in similar positions.
  9. I'll have what he's having! Happily add a Milik, Tielemans, and Coric to my order while I'm at it.
  10. Milik, Janssen, and Embolo would do me. Short of pulling Lacazette.
  11. Perhaps it's an international thing, but you don't have to complete the survey to read the article. Click that you'll do it, then click "skip the survey". I've never done one.
  12. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/06/02/five-facts-about-everton-linked-teenager-irvin-cardona/
  13. Just spitballing...what do people think of that Jorge Jesus character. From what I've heard/read, he sounds a bit of an eccentric genius/crazy person. Huge ego complex, but... (Not saying an option, just a hopeful possibility)
  14. Is Favre currently unemployed? Anyone know why he left Borussia?
  15. Fan of this, looks to be able to play the one out well. Both Milik and Embolo in and I'd be happy as Larry.
  16. Would be happy with de Boer (although no complaints on Favre), he definitely wouldn't be happy settling for mid-tier and seems to really like building up young players. He'd give us the inside track on the likes of Milik, Cillessen, Klaasen and El Ghazi. Milik and Embolo up front would be a decent replacement for Lukaku, if he goes.
  17. Lacazette is the one there for me, he said he'd only move to PL to play. Also Breel Embolo, but neither are likely free till seasons end. Yarmolenko, Lacazette, and Embolo would go a long way to replacing Lukaku, with his likely year end departure.
  18. I like the idea of yarmolenko (apologies for any spelling mistakes), but geez I'd be happy to throw the sink at calhonoglu. The player any club needs, I reckon.
  19. I kind of agree with you. My preferred option would be a double play older and younger, shinji kagawa & ante coric, type scenario. However, of what we've been linked with, I think that Praet at 10m is well worth the risk. Give me Praet and Ante Coric and I'll take myself for a cold shower... Everton will never threaten (given their current funding), without taking a few risks.
  20. Just to add, I'm not saying that's the offer. Just where I couldn't resist. 20 & Lennon, would probably take it. 20 including Lennon...hold out for more.
  21. I read it as 20 + Lennon, with it sounding like the cash component is likely to be higher. At 25+ & Lennon, I can't see how you could say no. Particularly if he's unhappy Early enough in the period to turn that into several high quality players on the Market. Although we could already cover, that could Include targeting a number of quality/promising CDM's either on permanent or loan (Lucas Silva & Casemiro come to mind as loans).
  22. Barkley's not a no 10 IMO, particularly in a 4-3-3 with 2 DM's. Just hasn't been enough quality to his passing to create opportunities. I had completely forgotten we had Piennar. This is probably just off the back of 1 bad season for both, but don't think McGeady and Pienaar are good enough to help take Everton forward (up the table). Think we need to be sourcing other (young/younger) options and then getting what we can for them. Everton needs to keep building from the ground up until they find the quality they need. (edit: sorry Cornish Steve, just saw your similar/same post)
