I think it's time to move him back out to the wing, it doesn't seem to be working as well and don't think he's quite ready to play in the middle. He looked his best (in the Derby) taking the ball out on the left and we often lost it trying to go through him when in the middle. I'd rather play him too his strength and relieve some of the added pressure on him, even if it means we've got to Bench a preferred player to bring on a CF. Maybe play him through the middle on a opponent/case by case basis.

Yep, has to start over Walcott. He's offering so much more going forward, far cleaner with his touches and more dangerous with his passes. He does seem to hang forward a bit more on defense, but I didn't see Walcott do much more than cover space himself. The team is relatively settled, time to shake things up a little. Start Lookman and challenge him to make it his own, while challenging Walcott to show he deserves it back

Yep. Also just to reinforce an attitude and a merit based system. Some starters have been down on form, so those training well & with the right attitude should get a chance.

Didn't think he was all that bad. Not good, but not bad. Saw him get back and help out a few times (got him a cheer at one point), a long way from Richarlison level but still. Agree on the width part, was a bit surprising given he's apparently right footed.

Can't buy our way to the top, we need to develop players. We could keep average players for bench cover, or we can provide opportunities for young talent to rise the challenge.

Keep 4 (Lookman) and use the u23's/u18's as required/warranted. Brands wants 1st team avenues for youth players, keeping the squad lean provides that. We haven't got any international comps to worry about and Calvert-Lewin/Gylfi/Dowell can all fill in as required (till Jan at least).

Richarlison obviously, but thought Baines was also very good. Defense in general was pretty solid. Might not be a popular opinion but I thought Schneiderlin played a decent game, the best I'd seen from him in awhile.

As much as I hate the snide prick, he's at least partly right about the need to finish off the good work. Depending on where Marco wants the additions playing...Need to find quality/1st division loan moves for Joe Williams, Kieran Dowell (depending on Bernard's position), Tom Davies, Nikola Vlasic (is CSKA loan/sale?). Pennington will go on loan to championship, if/once Zouma is confirmed. Bolasie just needs to go...to whoever will take him. One of Besic/Schneiderlin/Gana should probably be sold, although then maybe want Williams to stick around as emergency cover. Not really sure who would provide decent cover from u23's.

Any French clubs with enough coin (and not enough sense) to buy him? He could go alright there.

Issa Diop will be the one we missed IMO. Young, big, strong, fast, and relatively cheap.

Actually think he'd be a decent shout. Not the front line CB we're after, but a decent #3/#4 and free at that. Think he'd surprise and push his way forward, but he'll go to QPR and do well there.

Absolute rubbish that we'd pay £30m and make this truck our highest paid player. Shouldn't deal with Utd at all, unless it's for Martial or Rashford.
