  1. If Rom is still here AND we bag Sandro, then I'd be okay with it.

But we need to combine quality and long-term players into our transfer strategy. Vardy maybe hits quality, but he's not a long-term solution.

For sure. Why he sort of works for me as long as he's not THE answer and just an option

  2. http://www.espnfc.us/story/3137721/alexandre-lacazettes-failed-atletico-madrid-move-good-and-bad-for-lyon-aulas

apparently he REALLY wants to go to atletico, so he might stay at Lyon (his boyhood club) till the Winter window and then go. He's turned down offers before to leave because it wasn't the right club, he doesn't seem like a mercenary because of that. I don't think he will go to Man United. The president of Lyon said Atletico is "the club of his heart", doesn't sound like a guy who wants to spend time in Manchester.

Which means Lukaku is a realistic target for United.

Could maybe help with Sandro at least

  3. I know it's not a popular opinion but easily my least favorite player. Never been a big fan of keeping players who clearly want to be elsewhere. I guess we had no better option but I seriously doubt we will se his best and I'm not sure his best is even close to as good as most rate. I have seen people roast Lamine Kone here but praise Rom. Don't understand how the situation is any different

Sincerely hope I'm wrong and I'll hope for his success but I'm not sure I'll be troubled when he's finally gone

  4. Where does the hate for this guy come from? Is it the hair commercials? Or is it the Euros? I don't think he's the top stopper in the world but I see so many act like he is garbage.

I imagine that the standard for your national team is high and a bad performance can lead to a strong opinion or two but in this case it seems massively extreme

  5. the tax rate in england is a lot higher than the US, he's paying his fair share. in the US the rich use loop holes to pay less in taxes than i do and i'm middle class. which proves my above point about them being greedy bastards even more.

I would much rather them use charity as a loophole then pay more in taxes, regardless of intention. I trust the government far less with those tax dollars than anyone else

  6. If Stones went for 50 million and we've spent 15 or so of that then we should still have 130 million+ with the so called "100 million" were rumoured to have in the kitty! We want to be a club with some intent and if rom goes we need to replace him with a big big name. Lacazette would IMO be the type of CF Koeman would ideally have at the club, I would love to see him here he has the potential to be one of the best in the world.

This would be the ideal situation for me. Love Lacazette I think he will be better than Rom anyway if he's not already

  7. He's not being called out for not talking.... the fact that he's not talking having done nothing but talk pre euros is very strange. That is all that is being stated.

If he does get shit from the fans then he will have to take it on the chin as he was disrespectful and unprofessional.

This is why I believe he will be off.... if he was staying he would be undergoing some charm offensive to ensure the fans make it easier for him. He has kept quiet... very unusual.

This makes all the sense in the world to me. He talked all summer meets with Koeman and then nothing? And we're supposed to be looking to add 4 or 5 more before the deadline? Think it's done already

  8. all things being relative i think hart is staying. they haven't been linked with any keepers and guardiola hasn't mentioned it either. i don't think he's even available. Bony is the only one they're looking to get rid of that's worthwhile. Sterling, mangala, etc aren't worth it in my opinion.

I would take Bony but not if it means getting less for Stones. Would rather just max the fee
