I know it's not a popular opinion but easily my least favorite player. Never been a big fan of keeping players who clearly want to be elsewhere. I guess we had no better option but I seriously doubt we will se his best and I'm not sure his best is even close to as good as most rate. I have seen people roast Lamine Kone here but praise Rom. Don't understand how the situation is any different
Sincerely hope I'm wrong and I'll hope for his success but I'm not sure I'll be troubled when he's finally gone
I believe he played wide a lot with West Ham. He's a more natural striker. He looked fantastic against us here in the Copa America this summer I think he'll be a capable sub and spot starter. Much better than Kone on his day
Where does the hate for this guy come from? Is it the hair commercials? Or is it the Euros? I don't think he's the top stopper in the world but I see so many act like he is garbage.
I imagine that the standard for your national team is high and a bad performance can lead to a strong opinion or two but in this case it seems massively extreme
I would much rather them use charity as a loophole then pay more in taxes, regardless of intention. I trust the government far less with those tax dollars than anyone else
Imagine adding Ashley and Hart. There certainly wouldn't be a leadership problem anymore. I like the idea of Hart on loan with a chip on his shoulder. Plays well then sign long term if not, then we are still looking for a #1 anyway
This makes all the sense in the world to me. He talked all summer meets with Koeman and then nothing? And we're supposed to be looking to add 4 or 5 more before the deadline? Think it's done already
