For the first time in a long time we have absolutely no need to sell from a money point of view (if John really wants out then that needs to be taken into consideration, but I'm talking here only about our financial situation). We already have cash to spend, as does every other Prem club, and there isn't enough talent to go around.
 
So fleece the fuckers!!! 50 million from City? That's an absolute joke in today's market. City paid more than that for Raheem Sterling, a player with nowhere near the future Stones will have (simply because of the position he plays - wingers don't last long at the top level, Giggs was an anomaly). Push them up to the 80 million mark, or 50 plus Mangala.

The amount of Everton fans that are looking down on other Everton fans for their opinions is at crisis point. That's very much how this post comes across.
 
I'm not saying it's just you by the way. Fans who have let the current situation get to them look down on those who aren't spitting feathers over it too. It's really quite annoying and just not right. If you want to lose your mind over what's happening then go for it. If you want to just go with the flow and not get caught up in it then go for it. But don't judge, don't make it out like either way means you support Everton any more or less. And neither viewpoint is wrong in my eyes.

If we're going to spend on a keeper, and Robles isn't seen as a viable candidate to be number one, then I'd prefer to invest in a younger keeper who will be around for a long time.
