I'd sell DCL tomorrow for a decent price. He has lost form and is almost always injured. How many games has he started this season? How many goals has he scored for us this season?

How much of this is using him so much as a ball chaser when he was young.

Last 3 games have been disappointing to put it mildly. But last season there was no chance of us going 6 unbeaten, with the best defence in the league for nearly 2 months. We desperately need to win, or at least start scoring but on last seasons form we'd be bottom of the table already. It's a slow and frustrating progress but it is progress.

How do you measure Progress!!! We are 14th with 2 wins in 11. Franks stats as our manager are losing 52%. Lets carry on with him but when do you give up I give up now. give him 10 more games but that's 1-2 wins tops and we probably lose 6 of them. I want more as an Everton fan not this utter shite.

Did you watch last season? We've improved, this is a set back for sure but we've improved. We definitely need to focus on attack in January though.

Yes mate in the last 3 games I fail to see the difference. I watched us not compete against spurs in any way and give up against Man U after 5 minutes. I also tonight watched a strong team (the words of them commentator) lead to no clear chances. Our stats are shit. We may have got a few decent results but our true form is 2 wins in 11. On these stats we are 30 points after 33 games that's relegation form.

Because we were a mess and it takes time to undo years of crap. 6 games unbeaten until the last 3 games. There was progress, this is a set back.

What does good look like then....... Unbeaten in 6 is shit if the next 3 shows up the same old shit for us where is progress. We aren't making progress we are consistent in how shit we are. a few tackles by onanna doesn't make Frank a good manager he bought back gana and then played him 3 games in a row that we lost them all.

Gray delivers decent corners and from the wide area, but his deliveries from the middle are generally terrible.  Better to play it wide first.

He runs down blind alleys I don't see why he gets in every week. But when your competition is gordon and McNeil maybe I do

  6. I think relying on Patterson when 6  months ago he wasn't good enough is bollox. We need two right backs as Seamus can't cover for weeks on end. But this team is not about the players in it its about tactics and why Frank can fuck off. We signed another set of 1 season players. Alex = Gana no good just a player who seems leggy after the 10th minute. Please explain to me after last season and this season what does Frank Bring. Iwobi is still the poor player he was. a couple of good performances does not make him the 2nd coming. Onana decent signing but needs soooooo much time. Turning down 40 million for gordon is criminal. Mcneil instead of Cornett shocking. He made two good CB signings and people want to give him time.

This season 2 wins in 11

Whole time here 8 wins in 29 15 losses.

Why are people backing him. He goes now before he gets to do more damage.

Be honest did you give Rafa that excuse or did you just blame him for our position?

I think both managers have to take responsibility for the results. I agree all the club problems are there but s manager you come in knowing that. Rafa is long in the tooth he knew what he was going to be like and he didn't deliver so he was sacked. Frank wasn't my first choice and needs to be blamed for his results but he came into a team low on confidence and a toxic dressing room at the point he came in staying up had to be the goal.  Rafa was never the answer in my opinion and his appointment showed a real lack of understanding of the club.

also think he’s also struggling because he didn’t expect to be and is not used to working in a dysfunctional organisation with a bunch of lags, softies, nutters and burn outs. I think he’ll likely scrape us out of this mess by luck more than judgement, and I love Frank, but he’s not the right tool for this current job sadly.

I agree and disagree I have been looking at franks record and there has not been massive consistency to say good or bad. He got results at Chelsea with a very good squad he was just above average at derby. I am not sure you can say any of his other managerial roles have been functional to say we are dysfunctional. But I do agree he is the wrong tool for this I have given up naming who would be a good manager for us because at this point we have tried all different types and given them money to achieve and none have. I agree with other people that the managers name is getting more and more irrelevant with this current squad who for me aren't up to it and a broad who throw money at the problem all the time.

I think the only chance we have is to have a moyes based approach in keeping the manager for 5 years and give him what you can to support him to build an ethos a style of playing etc. I wanted that to be Ancelotti but it was obvious a bigger club would take him.  To quote an old chat up line we need Mr Right we keep trying to get Mr Right Now.

We’re losing, he isn’t on the pitch. Yes we need new players. The ones we have can’t do the job.

Mate I think you need to read my original post in context, I don't rate al ghazi compared to the other players we are NOT playing in his position. However the main point is he is a signing made by a manager on a record of 1 win in 13, who has alientaed our first team left back and made the club atmosphere toxic. Why are we backing a manager with this impact on the club.
