  1. Not sure if I was every really ok with the gov telling me I had to wear a mask, so to protest...I just wore a mask, some things aren't worth the argument. Not sure how effective the shot will be since what we "know" about this thing seems to constantly change (not evolve, just change). Kinda makes you wonder how the heck we know how to or how safe the vax will be. So, in protest, I just went and got the Johnson&Johnson shot, because again, some things aren't worth fusssing over. Then I booked a week in Panama early July for me and the wife. Little time in the highlands, few days on the Pacific, can't wait. Panama may require a passport, but no password, so that's good
  2. Wasn't a huge fan of the 343 formation for starters. But to your point on Jimenez, we are also missing our best/2nd best CB in Aaron Long, our backline, especially when 3 ATB looked a bit shaky. Not having our best holding mid (Tyler Adams) matchfit to shield the back line for a full 90' didn't help either. At least he got the last 8' and extra time. All that being said, to finally have most all the young kids available competitively for the first time... It was good win, especially after going down a goal twice, something to build on. I still don't get how a player can grab another player's throat and not see red. Or even yellow. CONCACAF ref's are the worst.
  3. In related news, El Tri fans are still garbage!
  4. IMO, it's still a selling point to our potential recruits/targets, along with the manager the new stadium and the players we added last summer. They all point to "club moving up with a path and a plan". CL? No, but we're making clear progress, join it.
  5. 2 more points than we deserved, but I'll take em
  6. Boy that was against the run of play
  7. Delph almost played a forward pass. But changed his mind.
  8. Need to attack the down the right where a slow-footed CM is playing LB. James is giving the ball away more than normal, but he can turn that is a heartbeat
  9. One year ban on European competition, and then fine them prize money portion from their table position at the end of the season. Take that windfall, and use to help the tier 2-4 teams that have really suffered mightily during the lockdown. Thereby forcing them to financially help the very teams they were going to screw over. The only thing they are sorry about, is that it failed. If you have 5 mates go to rob a bank, and suddenly realized you're way out-gunned, you don't just put down the loot and your weapons and say "Man, we're sorry, I'm not sure what we were thinking. We're just gonna leave now and pretend this never happened." No punishment for the six clubs would be akin to that scenario for me.
  10. I disagree. I'm not talking about people here, that are pretty educated about politics and civics and understand the difference between an impeachment and removal from office. It's exactly as you said if successful, an official reprimand by congress that the DNC can use against every GOP candidate in 2020. If it fails to get out of the House, I think the GOP/RNC will batter the democrats with it in 2020. Personally, I think the outcome of this will determine control of the House, Senate and likely the WH. Maybe not quite a Hail Mary, but I do think the democrats are putting most all their 2020 eggs in this basket. And I think it's going be a nasty fight, like Kavaugnah-esque. And like Palfy, I don't see him retiring, he seemingly enjoys the fight too much.
  11. Well that was unexpected, even by the mot optimistic Auburn fan
  12. I am most happy that we didn't crumpled like a cheap suit after conceding. And I'm not exactly sure what it is about him specifically, but nobody makes me more nervous getting the ball on the wing than Sterling. DCL is playing like a grown ass man today
  13. Looks like it called him right along the temple, where the skull is very very thin.
  14. That was a pretty wicked blow. Don't see anywhere in the world that cannot be a concussion, feel for the lad
  15. Ok @Sibdane I don't fancy your Bulldogs in the Cow-College Bowl this evening. At least I hope not, I was standing back with a close friend I grew up with. Auburn wins I sent her something AU related and she has to use it as her profile pic for a week - and vice versa. She sent me this awful reminder from 2015 last night haha, so War Eagle!!
  16. Or that were going to sit deep and hope to steal a goal or two on the counter. That's about the only reason I'd start Walcott, strictly for pace on the counter.
  17. Optimistic are ya? I'm not sure we even reach 30%
  18. Lol yeah I am, EST starts in far east Alabama, about 60 miles away, I love the 630am games You you know looking at the lineup I have two questions. Did Tom Davies shag Mrs. Silva? Does Morgan Schneiderlin have pictures of Mr. Silva with a ?
  19. I generally avoid drinking before noon (1130 kick in US) but today maybe one of those days.... At least I can laugh at Lloris' nifty footwork.
  20. It amazes me how ignorant most Americans are when it comes to civics. I would be willing to bet a significant percentage of not a majority of the people that have been screaming for Trump to be impeached since the day he was inaugurated think that it means it removes him from office (I think it was also the case for those screaming for Clinton's impeachment). The sheer gravity and threshold to bring an impeachment hearing to a vote is significant enough, that it's only succeeded twice in our history and both of those were overturned by the Senate - and a president has never been removed from office by the legislature. I really I think this is going to proceed against Pelosi's better judgment, because it's high risk high reward. If Trump "wins" I think 2020 will be a bloodbath for the Democrats - however should they succeed I believe it is their best chance to get the WH and Senate in 2020. I would imagine that we are going to see some of the most ridiculous partisan shit from both sides, but it's impossible to not watch - like lesbian midget mud wrestling.
  21. You can win that debate sir, I have faith. And should you find yourself in a debate with the 5th, use the tactics that subdued the 4th
  22. OBJ could look like Def Leppard's drummer and still snag 80 balls a year. Freak!
