  1. Pickford. Patterson. Mina. Godfrey. Myko. Townsend. Doucoure. Alan. Gordon. Richarlison. Gray. Probably won’t go down well with most but I would have DCL on the bench, he hasn’t looked himself since returning from injury I’ve been rather underwhelmed with some of his performance’s which tells me he isn’t fully fit yet and we shouldn’t be flogging him. So this could be a good alternative.
  2. If Digne has a worldie then fair enough, but personally I don’t think he will and I wouldn’t pick my team or tactics just to try and stop him, stick Gray Townsend or Gordon on his side and keep him busy in his own half
  3. That’s a good question favourite players are normally outstanding players from the past, the current crop have no one who will go down as outstanding imo, but if I had to choose it would be Coleman purely based on longevity and nothing else.
  4. We could be saying the same thing soon if Rooney get’s the job
  5. Looking at the way Ferguson has managed before I can see Gordon being his type of player, he will want as many hardworking attack minded players on the pitch has possible, in Gordon DCL Richarlison Gray and Doucoure he has 5 players that suit his style with 3 more on the bench in Townsend Dobbin and Rondon. What concerns me is we haven’t got a defence that has pace and understanding to cope with a high press, and decent teams will be working on hitting us at pace on the break, if we had Alan holding then Coleman Keane Mina or Godfrey and Mykolenko as our defence we will be slaughtered defending a high line and if he don’t defend a high line and leave a space of 40yrds between defence and midfield we will become disconnected and not even good teams will take advantage of the space and play through us.
  6. What’s going to stop us going down is the players that are coming back from injuries not the next manager in charge, when we have a pretty much fully fit squad we have winners in the team the first 6 or so games are testament to this. Personally I never believed we were in danger of relegation under Benitez, I except he may never of played the style of football with a fully fit squad that we craved which in time would have got him the sack, yet I would have given him 12-18 months to prove us wrong. Sacking him now imo has made the next half of the season a lot harder than if he had stayed, but we now have pretty much all the players available who will keep us up.
  7. I agree Mike the defence needs special attention at this moment in time especially under Ferguson, who’s focus will be to press high up the pitch which with our defence throws up a couple of problems, we have a lack of pace so the defence is reluctant to push up to the halfway line but hang back and leave a huge space between them and the MF for the opposition to play in. Baines will understand that we lack pace but will Ferguson listen and adjust or play his game and get picked off. There’s no doubt 4 or 5 in the team will hope he throws caution to the wind and just goes for it.
  8. So you think he will leave Gordon out for experience, I would hope he would go for attacking football with energy and include Gordon.
  9. 2 weeks to get a new manager then or he’s staying.
  10. You just summed up eloquently the manager who we just sacked, and not one of those managers on the list that has been composed as Everton’s next manager is a winner in managerial terms . People won’t acknowledge it or are to blind to see it but we have probably got rid of the best chance to see us through this far too early. Moshiri’s blue and white army
  11. Good get your name on the next manager list then mate, you’d be a much better option than most on it
  12. How did the examination go today mate.
  13. As anyone spoken to them to see if there interested if not can we have Boris Johnson put on he could be looking for something soon.
  14. That’s is a forgive Boris gesture.
  15. I totally agree Bill, but you have dickheads on here calling people red shite because they didn’t believe Benitez should have sacked this early, and there looking at Potter to take over the real red shite would be pissing themselves if we got him.
  16. Even shorter who we going to put on it now Koeman, what a ridiculous position to find ourselves in.
  17. You can never know that for fact that’s just your opinion, I’m saying it could potentially be the wrong decision because we don’t get the right man in, normally a club in this position would sack a manager and announce the next man to take over in 24hrs, we haven’t got a clue who we going to end up with and I would put a big wager on neither do they, I find that more worrying than Benitez having another 3-4 games.
  18. The list that wasn’t long just got even shorter, this could potentially turn out to be the worst time to sack a manager ever, but that’s the way with us since Moshiri took over.
  19. If we are looking at realistic managers who would be interested in the job and not who we would like then it’s going to be a very short poll.
  20. When a main road gets blocked in that area it doesn’t take long for other decent routes to fill up because there are so few. But you’ve arrived safely mate and that’s the most important thing, but I feel your pain this type of thing always happens when you least want it to.
  21. I’ve always backed him when he’s going through a bad spell because he always bounces back in a game or two, but it’s becoming to regular these blips, and at the worst moments when the team needs everyone to be on their game, I wouldn’t want to be going into the last game of the season needing a win or point and relying on him he buckles under pressure.
