  1. Yeah, that's why we've applied. Just to make sure we have the best possible chance of europe next season.
  2. I was watching the tele when it happened and felt my bed shaking and I was wondering whether I was pissed or I had a case of the Exorcist
  3. I didn't think it was like the Champions League where the winners are automatically entered into the competition regardless of league position though?
  4. We do still hoof the ball a bit, nowhere near as much as we have in the past but there are still a lot of improvements we need to make. It is good to be a blue atm though .
  5. Welcome to the forum mate. We have a few foreigners but I don't think we have any other Spanish members.
  6. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0400eve...-name_page.html Good idea IMO.

Carsley misses the Sunderland game not the Portsmouth game Mike

1-0 or 2-0 to the blues. Osman will get on the scoresheet again I feel. Does anybody think we can catch Chelsea? I know they have a game in hand but they've got to come to Goodison and play the arse and Manure again I think.
  11. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/arti...in_page_id=1779 Good write up
  12. Howard - Made a couple of very good saves towards the end. He scares the shit out of me coming for crosses though. Hibbert - Had Petrov in his pocket apart from once or twice. Pretty much faultless apart from his distribution. Jagielka - This boy is going from strength to strength. MOTM for me. Stopped absolutely everything and threw himself infront of the ball a few times. At one point he'd made 16 defensive clearances!!!! Yobo - The same as Jags really, didnt let anything get past him. Thumbs up. Lescott - Not his usual attacking self but a great goal and he was faultless defensively. Osman - Ran himself into the ground, didn't do much creatively but what he did do he did well. Carsley - He's looking like the player he can be again, he mopped everything up for us. Nice assist for Joley's goal too. Well done. Neville - Not as good as Carsley tonight but he covered our defence very well. Crap distribution again though. Cahill - Looking like he's getting back up to speed now. Not as good as he can be but he provided excellent support for the Yak, and he got an assist. Pienaar - Another 60mins under his belt, he's looking better every game. Did well going forward and tracking back. Yak - What can you say about this lad? He tracks back now, he holds the ball up, he rips the piss out of defenders and he knows where the back of the net is. Keep it up Yak. All in all a very professional performance. Not the prettiest of games but it was very methodical and we got the job done. That's 6 points we've taken from City now, I reckon our only challengers for fourth spot are Villa and the shite now.
  13. City's movement and patient build up play isn't half lovely to watch. It certainly puts our static midfield and hoofball mentality to shame. We can't keep hold of the ball for more than 5 seconds, we'll find it very hard to score playing like this.
  14. Why bring Spuddy back for the Brann game when this was far more important? Inept management.
  15. Did Grant not notice Kalou hit the post then? Fucking idiot. Him not you Jamie.
