Is this the same Davies that is the reason Gana went charging at their player (rightly or wrongly)?
Both of them were abysmal but for some reason little Tom gets off without a mention. Is it his luscious blonde locks?
If you had read my other posts regarding Gana, you would know that some of us in here thinks/knows that Gana makes any player next to him look like a headless chicken. Hence my remark on him being a luxery-player for the team.
None in here should doubt the qualities of Davies, right. That the twat Koeman didn't use him right or kept him on the bench has of course not benefited Davies... or the rest of the team, for that matter.
-
Clearly remember games last season where young Davies had to save the Ganas arse for the failures he did in the middle midfield.
And clearly remember my brother saying "Waow! That Gana plays without a brain. Lucky for him Davies has got one".
With the current situation, Gana is a luxery-player that we can't afford to play. He makes way too many mistakes.

Not an easy game for Unsworth. And we should back him up, ok.

Been the best side second half. No lack of effort.... better than we were under koeman.
He's ruined us.
Yup. Will be a bumby ride uphill. But we'll be back!

Faster passings, less stepping with the bal would do us good. More direct play and more aggessiveness when attacking.
Going to be quite a job to put more confidence into the boys. But when that happens we'll have a winning team again.

Would so have wished Jags would have scored on that bicycle-kick.

Arghh somewhat close.

What a great tackle by Davies.
-
Let's wait and see. These subs might pay off... hopefully. Did Lennon get a knock in the first half? Mirallas should have stayed in, yes. He showed some of that aggresiveness and direct play we lack.

What a load of shite.
Gana and Davies are a big problem. The pair of them have been utter shite.
Dcl being our main striker costing us as well. Should’ve finished that chance but he didn’t and Leicester go down the other end and finishthe game instead.
Another away game. Another loss.
I tell you what. Davies is not the first player to play worse when positioned next to Gana. Barry was the first offering.

You have to look at the whole picture, Yamar. The team lacks confidence, no doubt. Guees who you can thank for that.

I think it's quite clear that Unsworth knows the players much much better than Koeman did. An advantage that I think will benefit the team, the club in several ways.
Do any here know if he (Unsworth...wink at MikeO) is actually interested in a permanent position as manager for the first team?

Am I the only one who doesn't think Besic is all that? sure he plays with his heart on is sleeve but from what I've seen im just not impressed and playing him against Chelsea isn't going to be a good idea.
No, you're not the only one. And maybe we'll see some matches without the use of DM. We need to give Unsworth some time to set up a steady team.
Against Chelski today hmmm. No doubt it'll be tough for our boys. Then again, I'm sure some are quite motivated to show what they can do.

Talking about man city now. Awesome.
Surely not boring to watch. But I would also say that they have used huge amounts of money. I'm a tad old fashioned and like when clubs use players from their own rows as much as possible.

You joking? Pep has totally transformed that side into a fookin powerhouse.
Absolutely awesome side.
Bayern München or Barcelona? Either way; the foundation was already layed for him (Guardiola). First time we see Pep Guardiola struggle a bit was at Manchester City and he always had a huge budget to use for players and staff. Ido admit he made Barca a more stable and winning team, but my god ws/is it boring to watch.

Common connection between Martinez and Koeman is their Barcelona philosophy. Idealistic blind fools the both of them. No more Barca bitches please, save that shit for the second rate slow arse la Liga.
Absolutely spot on.

If any think Joachim Löw is going to be the next manager for EFC you can buy the bloody Eiffel Tower from me...
Unsworth will do a much better job than Koeman and hopefully prove that he's ready for a permanent job as manager. For EFC, of course

Can someone explain why Sigurdsson is still on the pitch? At least Rooney scores the odd goal
His price tag? Koeman plays him wrong tactically. Just like he do with the rest of the team.

I agree with pete0. Yes, Gana is full of energy but that energy is rarely being used for anything positive. Gana seems to like to precheck opponents but leave the player he was supposed to mark/cover. And that creates possibilities for the other team.
If anything he's a luxery-player and as most have realized by now (about bloody time too), playing two defensive midfielders does not work. It didn't work during Martinez, it doesn't work under Koeman.

Arrrrgghhh! Close....

.... for fucks sake! That should just not have happend. So effing basic to clear that. Look at the ball, get first to it and head away, damn it!
Make your voice heard: what would you think of Allardyce as manager?

Would be a devastating blow to me to have him at the sideline. He is not the future for the club in any way.
