SHIT, apprently Johnso may miss the game tomorrow. that would put us right up the creek.....
  3. very much doubt he would switch allegiance, though we do have a business link with JJB. Dave Whealan is 100% Wigan at the moment. really can't see him mumping ship if they get relegated and aaron, i think thats a good point about money not always bring success. The problem is that success very rarley comes without money. West Ham have been badly affected by the "media circus" that surrounded them. Think that with the current footballing climate we do need an investment to move the club forwards, though there is also the problem with unsetteling the team and making poor purchases.
  4. doubt that north america will have 2018 as i read that 2014 is going to be in south america and i doubt they would have it in the americas two tournaments running. if we are to have a decent chance of getting 2018 then we need to appoint someone who knows what the hell he is doing to spearhead it. Like Gemrnay did with Beckenbaur. would love it to be held over here but, as i have said in another post, cannot see it being done anywhere near as well as germany hosted it. cannot see anyone hosting it as well as they did to be honest. australia would be a good place to hold it, i love the excitement of when its held in a new continent. for one the the host nation embraces it becassue its new and exctitng and then for us, watching at home, i like waking up at silly times to watch footy. staying up until ridiculous o'clock for the ashes last year was fun (even if the ashes themselves was not so fun)
  5. i would like to know exactley what the hell happened. there was a picture in the Scum yesterday with Bellamy and Riise in training on sunday. Riise is wearing shorts and there is clearly no marking or bruising on his legs. personally i think bellamy is scum, but is being made a scapegoat for the whole thing. I reckon alot of people in the squad caused alot of troble in portugal but only bellamy is really getting the flack. I read that dudek and fowler (surprise surprise) where alos involved in altercations. dont think we'll ever know what really happend, but i reckon bellend will be on his way out. especially with that vornin being signed.
  6. Turin Brakes- Optimist L.P Ryan Adams- Heartbreaker The Frattellis- Costello Music todays favourite track Don't ask for the water- Ryan Adams
  7. was awesome, i read that austrlia are no longer ranked the best one-day team in the world now. South Africa are. The world cup is going to be very intersting. WOuld be nice for us to do well, can;t really see it happening. Though if we can perfomr like we did in the tri-nations final, that was nice.
  8. its probably a villa fan sick of him harping on about the bagies. probably doug ellis, he aint up to much else at the moment
  9. This is a very good band that is worth checking out, kinda like the Jam or Libertines without the crack. www.myspace.com/wutars
  10. that one could be a bit tricky, just in case you havn't heard they broke up a fair few years, might make a bit of a tit of yourself if you ask anyone where the beatles are playing that night!
  11. he is a player that should never play in the english league, he has not got the strenght to man it. he is suited to italian league where its not as physical and play builds up slightly slower.... plus in italy there are no little scallies that will still his dog.... but there are mafiosa types that will break his legs.... its swings and roundabouts.
  12. still think it would be worth going to see. thoough just think your not going to see the jam, because your not seeing the jam. but to see the two of them perform would still be good. if i was in the country i would defo go, im a massive jam fan and to see them in any form would be good because i wasn't around when they first where.
  13. Hi Guys, Im going to be travelling around the world from March and was wondering what times the australian leauge runs from and until. I want to try and go to see a football game on each contintent. Im gonna be in Australia between the end of April and throughout May, (also going to Thialand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, New Zealand, Fiji, and America... sweet) how much do tickets usually cost? any info would be much appreciated, ta
  14. because they are the greatest country on earth and everyone wnats to be American, though apparently thats just a conspiracy started by the canadians.
  15. i think thats true, but to be fair they have lost almost everygame they havn't played in as well

If we're lucky then they will eat Lasagne before the game
  17. very much doubt anything like thios will happen for awhile, we've already had a russian millionaire paper merchant and and that sports interactive (or whatevre they were called) mooted as taking over and nothing ever happened, doubt anything will happen, especially from a rumour from a everton website. and if someone does come in it will take along time to get the whole thing in motion, these things are never quick and rarely painless
  18. i reckon you'd get good odds on the end of the week
  19. FM can sometimes be spot on with unknown players, i remeber signing gamst pedersen before he went to blackburn and he was always class. though i did sign players like balaban and they did the job for me and not in real life.

fulham did seem unlucky, if it wasn't for some silly mistakes by knight it could have been closer. the result was flaterring to spuds but all the goals were class. the problem with spurs is that when they are confident you can see there strikers scoring everytime. just hope they have an off day.... or they play mido!
  21. The Jam are reforming for a tour in May (though without Paul Weller), it will be the first time they have performed in any form for 25 years. Would love it if they fully reformed at one point, but this tour will be awesome too. Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckley are both incredible musicians and this would well be worth going to. I can't go as im going to be in Thialand but still... LINK- http://www.nme.com/news/the-jam/26537
  22. I like Reo-Coker though think he would want to stay in london, can see him going to Arsenal/Spuds. Think Ashton would be an ace signing, though if we could get him would be a different question. I know some peolpe dont rate him but i still Think that Etherington would be worth a shout though. Would be a good squad player and would be able to get him on the cheap, i imagine. if we could get him for say £1.5m maximum think he would be a good purchase. Koncheski maybe worth a shot as well, seems to be out of favour with Curbs. Though my favourite westham player has to be beniyoun. Though i dont think we need him.
  23. the x-files guys programme was called "The Lone Gunman" if thats what you were refering to

im feeling nervous about this one, a real 6 pointer! would love to get a result and do the double over them. though they looked good at the weekend. hopefully we'll be more rested though. and the spuds have been very innconsitent, im gonna go for 1-0 to us. dunno about goal scorer, think its gonna be a scrapy game. (though with everton you ecpect nothing less)
