  1. nice uplifitng one... always thought Live Forever would be a good one, apparently its the second favourite funeral song after Angels.
  2. todays choices are Radiohead- Kid A Blur- 13 and Cast- All Change (forgot how good it was, havn't listened to it for years.... sandstorm is class.... though walkaway brings back bad memories of Euro 96, when it was played on BBC when we were knocked out... stupid southgate)
  3. i have a brief memory of it when it first happened, but due to everything else it kindo got eclipsed. the program made me luagh in places (not at 9/11 itself, im not a sicko) but the fact that there are two clear views being presented, that the whole thing was a conspiracy or that it was just terrorism. the thing that made me laugh was that neither party would listen to or accpet anything from the other, the radio presenter was going on about he would never give up the fight until the truth was uncovered. what he doesn't realsie is that maybe the truth had already been uncovered. Maybe, just maybe, there a people out in the iwder world that hate america enough to do something like 9/11 also when some people accused the creator of x-files for being involded was hillarious, (incase anyone didn;t see it, he had released a show 6 months before 9/11 about terroists hijaikng a plane and trying to fly it into WTC, though it gets foiled. Some people then believed that the media was (in on 9/11) and was giving veiled warnings to america about the impending attack.
  4. According to NOTW yesterday it has been ruled that West Ham have broken Fifa ruling in the signings of the two argies. No punishment has yet been set though it is extremly likely that a point deduction will be in place (likely 6 points). What are peoples thoughts on this? personally i think if they've broken the rules then tey have to suffer the consequences, and if AFC Wimbeldon got screwed over then so should WHU. also could be some interesting signings available iof they go down. Dean Ashton or A cheap etherington anyone?
  5. hopefully preston will finish 3rd, then they will definatley not get promoted in the play offs and then we can get nuggent
  6. top quality player, though we wont get him. £10m is too much considering we have cahill and arteta that are similar players. If (and touch wood this doesn't happen) Arteta gets sold off then i reckon we should defo go in for kallstrom
  7. thought it was a really good program, though mist of the people seemed a bit mad. thought it was good how the program showed where most of the conspiracies started and the amount of truth in them. personally i didn't believe any of them though the one thing that i thought was strange was the building next to WTC that fell down, looked exactley like a controlled demolition and i have no idea why it all just fell down. though if it was blown up in a controlled explosion i have no idea why it would have been.
  8. this game is so wrong, yet so fun at the same time. what do you think certain celebrities would think if they knew about people betting on whom would die first. excellant
  9. he's english so he's gonna be overpriced!
  10. i reckon we could get him cheaper than they wanted in january if they don't get promoted. and the only way we will get him is if they don't get promoted. He will definalty be playing in the prem next season, whether with preston oir someone else. If he leaves preston i think he'll definatly choose us....he's an Everto Fan, Moyes gave him his first chance...
  11. i really rate him, you have to see this goal he scores, it incredible
  12. SSN say that Luton maybe making a loan move for Vaughn. Think it would be good experience for him myself. LINK http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...p;channel=&
  13. ok, heres mine now Current Prem 1- Cech 2-Terry 3-Gerrard 4- Cahill 5-Ronaldo Still Playing 1- Buffon 2-Essien 3-Kaka 4-Rohnaldino 5-Eto all time 1-Schmeical 2-Moore 3-Zidane 4-De Stephano 5- Van Basten
  14. today i have been mostly listening too.... The Wutars
  15. Quick question, is howard still classed as a loan player until the end of the season as him signing now would surely class us signing a player out of the window. just wanted to know if he'd be elligable to play Man Utd later on in the season
  16. the thing is with hendrix is that he pioneered the guitar sound that he created, at the time there was hardly anyone that sounded like him, he was one of the first to utalise things such as the waa-waa peddle. and as for the woodstock performance, he may not be your cup of tea but you do have to take into consideration that the quality of the sound system was very poor so it doesn't really do him justice... listen to Are you Experienced?
  17. or look at him at isle of wight 1970, he's quality. and i believe its his last recorded performance before he dies...same can be said of jim morrison with the doors at IoW '70
  18. he was but i put him as solo becasue he found more fame with his solo work than csn&y
  19. have to agree with you, hendrix was a ledgend, and to say that he wouldn;t work with clapton well is wrong.... hendrix was actually a huge influence on clapton, clapton was incredibly jealous of hendrix when he first turned up in london to play and said that he wanted to emulate his style of play.... so i think they would work well together oh and with the jethro tull thing.... oops...my bad
  20. Just been reading 4-4-2 and they have been having the five-a-side section with certain players dream 5-a-side teams so what would be your dream current premiership team, your dream team of players still playing, and your dream team all time squad? Im gonna think about mine first, just thought of this post while doing the dream band thing and thought why not
