And that's right there was no good reason to single one player out and not others who were equally at fault for mistakes, so let's debate the subject, you obviously have all the answers has to why Schneiderlin was poor and others weren't let's hear them.

remember  they had an extra body in the middle and we still managed to keep the ball for a while. The 2nd goal came about over and over extended period of intense play the ball needed to go into row Z so we could make the substitution and reset our defence because we were out on our feet. Rewatched the 2nd goal again and it was just a cracker ball Keane was actually tight to his man it was just a pin point ball.

Well either a fan or not, Tosun is the best scoring threat at the moment. Niasse is a good asset but doesn’t have the required capabilities to be a starting striker and we all know about DCL.

Another striker wasn’t the priority and as we’ve seen they all focused on the emerging positions, it was a hard work until the end of the transfer window. So, that’s what he have right now. He needs to use him, at least until the mid-year transfer window.

He said himself how strong he is in the box and he admires his finishing skills, meaning, he knows his strength. He will and needs to re-design his playbook accordingly.

On the other hand, Cenk needs to prove himself. If he can work hard on the pitch and produce goals and assists, there is no way Silva will waste him quickly and it will be a huge relief for all the fans.

I just don’t understand the love of pace. Some people have it some doesn’t have. Some people score regardless, some people can’t. Cenk is a great finisher and he has shown it during his limited time so far and I have no doubt he’ll show more. Question is, will it be enough? That’s what we are going to see and discuss during the season. Give him and new transfers time to adapt and get used to their teammates, they’ll all show what they have. Without patience, in every transfer window you’ll be shouting for new transfers which will lead you to the doom. The money is not infinite, even in EPL.

I am really pleased with the latest transfers. They arrived a little bit late and it will cause some problems in early season but it will be ok, hopefully.

I'm a Tosun fan its just it will be interesting to see if he puts Bernard on the left and Richarlison upfront for somegames. I agree  i'm super excited should finally get to watch some good football the number of times i flicked over to goal rush because it was making my eyes bleed last season was far too many.

Richarlison plays on the left, Walcott on the right.

Bernard a natural left winger as well but can play anywhere across the front 3. I see our front 3 behind tonsun swapping depending on who we are playing and want to isolate etc.... we are super scary attacking wise. Let’s hope our midfield can get their foot on the ball and play positive forward passes.

Aaron Mooy, Nathan Ake, Josh King, !!  Jeez they're no better than what we have, certainly won't take us to the next level.😣

Watch the France vs Australia game from the World Cup and tell me who the best player on the park was. I’m a kiwi and want  us to sign him the lad puts a 110 percent in no matter who he’s playing for. And you’re  right he’s not a “top four player”. But top 4 players won’t come here, we have a shit midfield crying out for a box to box midfielder with less than two weeks to the window closes, there’s no risk in signing him like there would be taken a punt on a younger talent from another league.

I hope he's thinking about playing Gana or Besic  before Schneiderlin. I also think Jags will play before Holgate.

Of course that's just my opinion. 😐

I have no qualms with that those are the positions that are pretty much up for grabs for the first game of the season if he wants to play 3 at the back.

He was half and half for me today. He wasnt far off making a big impact but ultimately what he tried didnt come off which is what he is paid to do.

I am worried about our midfield because I dont see them fitting well together. I see it as the following fighting each other for places:

    DM - Schneiderlin / Gana / Besic

    CM - Davies / Klaassen

    AM - Dowell / Siggy / Vlasic

Obviously the AM/CM/DM simplifies things but I dont want the DM list having to have pressure to contribute in the final third and I dont want the AM to have to a lot of defensive responsibility. The CM also has to have the engine to go forward and back, link the play with the aim of getting us move forward.

I am too. I really want us to sign Aaron Moy from Huddersfield and maybe loan Davies back out to them in return.

    7th .. Everton

    8th .. West Ham

    9th .. Wolves

I still think wolves and West Ham  will struggle a little even though they’ll play some nice stuff. Palace is my team to be around 7th-10th if they hold on to Zaha. We’ll be 7th- 10th again.

Think Watford, Cardiff and Brighton will go down.
