The day after and still can't quite believe yesterday. I know we have a small squad and injured first choice players. So we have a situation where players are getting a game that wouldn't be near the first XL. You would think given a first team opportunity they would be pulling up trees or at least trying to but this doesn't seem the case. When people write something is wrong at the club. I always dismissed this. Now, may be there is something in that. Anyway after yesterday, could it be the time to give a couple of the younger players a runout. Couldn't get any worse, could it. Don't answer that.

A lot of negativity here and that's understandable. If we had won the shootout much of the 90, minutes would have been forgotten. We must get behind the team on Saturday. It feels like a must win and so early in the season.

Not only a small squad but with injuries. Not an opportunity to rest players. Do we play some youngsters and try to save senior players for league games. QPR are no mugs and will fancy themselves at home. I wouldn't like to pick the team.

We've had a gentle introduction to the season and done well. Today has exposed us against what will probably turn out to be a top half side in Villa. I don't blame Rafa, he has taken on a big challenge. With this squad and the limitations around what the club can spend. I think it's going to be damage limitation for a couple of seasons. Until we can turn this around , hopefully with Rafa. He needs time.

We were always going to struggle with strength in depth. This has happened with too many too soon but a good opportunity to show Rafa and the fans what they can do.

Well it's all over. A long season ahead, as said earlier let's hope we don't get many injuries or we could be seriously exposed.
