    Nope but talking of remakes, I watched Predators. It tried so hard to be a copycat of the original with Arnie that I ended up not enjoying it.

    Jarvis, Yes, but with the current hype surrounding him I think we would struggle to tempt him if others come in for him.

    Dexter is simply awesome, I have watched it from the beginning. I have the first 6 episodes of series 5 ready to watch, just need some time to do so...

    Agreed. Same goes for Arteta at the moment, he signed a bumper contract but recently looks very uninterested.

    This is the whole point though, last season he apparently had the excuse of coming from a full season of the Russian league. This season he hasn't, he has had long enough to get his act together. Even Graeme Sharp doesn't rate the guy.

    Couldn't decide between Pienaar and Distin (who is simply awesome at the moment) but went for Pienaar because he was the only one that tried when he had the ball. Why oh why wasn't Arteta subbed...

    Absolutely sod all to his game, needs to be booted. (Honest opinion). Nobody where I was sat had anything positive to say about him last night, never mind any other games this season.

    Yeah, I wasn't joking as I actually like St Ledger as a player! Preston is the one team I always look out for their result each week, don't know why I just do.

    Woohoo was supposed to be out of the country but trip cancelled so I can make the game... Going for a 2-1 win for us...Arteta, Taylor (the bugger always scores against us, even when at Portsmouth) and then Yakubu.

    Yes, Preston would be good for Shane. Playing alongside players like Sean St Ledger will do him no end of good...

    I know Dave Jones' dad so I am not saying anything negative Dave's family mostly live up in the North West.

    Distin for me, in form of his life at the moment. Coleman, good goal but generally wasteful on the ball again. However, he seemed fired up for it and gave it a good go. (Cahill needs a kick up the backside, not sure what's wrong with him)

    Great post! I have kept out of this debate because it is the same old dribble from a stuck record...but duncanmckenzieismagic is spot on with this. I bet the bottle is always half empty for some people...

    Yeah. The highlights were very limited but the goals were good, Beckford took his well and looked sharp. Yet again Gueye looked awesome...please bench Coleman and give Gueye a run out...

    I am still addicted to Halo Reach at the moment, waiting for COD Black Ops though only a few days to go. I think Kinect will be around for a long while yet, not the same hype level as the Wii but it is aiming towards the same market.

    For Beckford it is all about confidence, which he will only get from goals. Looking forward to the highlights later.

    My issue, isn't Charlie Adam the best of a bad bunch at Blackpool? I remember the same of Steve Sidwell when he was at Reading, he stood out amongst their players but when thrown in to Chelsea then Villa you see that actually he wasn't/isn't that good.

    It will do wonders for Duffy, get some 1st team game time under his belt. Agree with above, he has the most promise to become a great player.

    Wow, Coleman must have lots of parental guardians... I would be tempted to play Coleman pretty much most of our games, but only at right back. If we bought a young right back for £6m and stuck him on the right wing he would get the same critique from me as someone who cost £60,000. After all they are occupying a position in our starting 11.
