  1. Nice one, well done mate. I wish to add that I am not congratulating you just because I want an extra post as I only have a feeble number of posts. No, no way. Not me, I am genuinely pleased for you mate. ...honestly mate, I really am! (now I am prostituting myself! DOH!) lmao!
  2. Moyes was interview pre-match on Sky PremPlus. The beginning of the interview went like this. Interviewer: So, David, what is wrong with Andrew Johnson? MOYES: INJURED. (smirks) Interviewer: What is the type of injury? MOYES: HAMSTRING. (smirks even more!) The interview then continued. Although brief, this interview got me thinking. I honestly do not believe at this point that AJ is actually injured. I can only think that he would say that AJ is injured to save him for Wednesday v Man U. Any thoughts? opinions?
  3. Valente made a school boy error today, however I think that Yobo's contribution during that goal was something else! His shoe came off, so what does he do, he turns away from where the play is, pick's it up and starts to put it back on. If only he had of been watching, he could have thrown himself in front of the shot...but as it was, he was completely unaware...amazing. Never mind.
  4. I hate hearing our own supporters calling our players...but that said, I think that Davies did not play his best. I was also very disappointed with Lee Carsley. I thought that both lost possession to easily and did not make any opportunities to write home about today. On the other hand, I was well impressed with McFadden today. He raised his standard when given an opportunity, however he needs to keep his trap shut...too much moaning gets cards, he above everybody else should know!
  5. There was an article all about Lescott in a match day program at the beginning of this season. The interview in the match program went on to say that the injuries gave him a positive outlook the will to win. Like most blue's, I could not care less how he looks - so long as he keep turning in rock solid performances as he has since he joined us. Class.
  6. Nice early start to catch the fellow blue's on Soccer AM then!
  7. lmao... I bet that lady now has a massive belly button just beneath her breasts!
  8. I have just been listening to Alan Jackson on BBC Radio Merseyside online. I think that they must be having a laugh though, because when you view online, they have two supporters, a blue and a RS. Who the hell is that? Could they not have found somebody a little more, well, normal looking! And could they not have used a more recent photograph, judging by the age of the kits. The image is on the listen again page which can be found here.
  9. lmao...its all true! I just object to having to pay for Pay Per View when I am already playing for the top package...plus the movies are donkey years old by the time they appear on Sky. Anyway...I moan no more!
  10. Mikeo...don't bother with the sites which you have to pay for...all they do is provide the information of where the game is being hosted. Doing it the way I explained above, allows you to find the channel manually, rather than paying for it, then simply open the downloaded software (SOPcast) which will have been added to your start>all programs list, click of SOPcast, log in as anonymous then log in. You will then be able to find the channel in the channel list and view once it has opened and finished buffering. Good luck mate
  11. I was not only thinking about tomorrow though... For those games where it is not being shown on one the satellite stations, you can watch one of the Asia channels...its worth it...after all it's free. I have also loaded SOPcast onto laptop in case I am away with work. I have just been testing the channels too. I have 8mb broadband on my PC and 2mb on my laptop and on either the quality is only slightly less as good as normal TV.
  12. My vote would be for Knowsley or Switch Island as both are handy for the M58, M57, M62 and M6, A59, A49, A570 and East Lancs Rd A580, as well as being linked by both the underground and overground railway lines. Edge Lane, even when the BigDig work is finished would still cause massive traffic congestion. Incidentally, I am now glad that the Kings Dock proposal was knocked on the head. If anybody has seen the new sports arena that is being built it is going to be a little blowy in there with the wind off the Mersey, plus with the new shopping precinct being built, Saturday and Sunday afternoons will be a nightmare around there shortly. Just my thoughts, nothing more!
  13. lmao...you know, I will never understand by the like of McClaren think that they can get to know a player better than their own manager, and choose to play them in bizarre positions - and still think that the team the field will win. Amazing! Anyway, like Fozzie, I could not give two hoots about England...other than our players are not injured as a result of the game.
  14. Down to 59%, but still a long long long way out in front...naturally of course! Got my vote anyway
  15. Okay, most regular posters on here will know that I post up every Saturday asking for a link to a stream, or whether anybody know's what channel the blue are playing on... Anyway, I started my research earlier this week and I found this website which lists what world TV stations are showing the games live... Click here for the website To watch the games, you need to download certain pieces of software... SOPcast Click here to download zip file. have a play around with it and best of luck and happy watching!
  16. well, I listened to it and was very disappointed with the result. Such a shame... Never mind... There is always the FA Cup to aim for now!
  17. Well, it appears that Arsenal and Everton is not been screened live anywhere, with the possible exception of ArsenalTV. As a result, I think I will just listen to it on EvertonTV. Nevermind...I will be there this Saturday anyway!
  18. Please help... I am away from home tonight, and want to watch the game. I don't think that it is on Sky, the RS have reserved their spot on Sky Sports One... I will have my laptop with me, and would be able to watch online if anybody would kindly point me in the right direction. Thanks Andy
  19. It probably sounds bizarre, but I am happier playing a top premiership side than a lower league side. Everton tend to rise to games and I fancy our current form against Arsenal, but the next game will be an indication I guess.... anyway, copied from my own website, here are the other fixtures... Carling Cup 2006 LATEST Draw Wednesday 25th October 2006 All fixtures to be played week commencing Monday 6th November 2006 Everton v Arsenal Notts County v Wycombe Wanderers Tottenham Hotspur v Port Vale Birmingham City v Liverpool Chelsea v Aston Villa Watford v Newcastle United Chesterfield v Charlton Southend United v Manchester United
  20. Compared to recent seasons, i serious don't think we have that big of a problem at all! Firstly, already said, a win and a draw is a good beginning for us. I think that Moyes would be happy with a draw at Ewood Park as it is a hard place to go to and walk away with three points. I personally do not expect any more than a single point away to Spurs...and hopefully we can dip Liverpool with a bit of luck. Fingers crossed. As a season ticket holder, I can compare the original Moyes line-up with that which we have now. The game against Watford was never going to be a wonderful display against football. Watford have hardly invested in their squad, and a lot of their play was scrappy to say the least. The introductions of new players has refreshed our squad, and I think it is now looking stronger than of recent years - and I think we should definately be looking at a top 8 finishing place.

    Spurs V Everton

I am thankful for a single point from Blackburn... I think that we may be dipped at Spurs, however I would be more than happy with a point...but in the style of Jimmy Hill, "its a strange game, and anything can happen!"
  22. yea, thanks iggy1956. That worked just perfect. I am shocked that happened in the Barclays Premiership last night. I really hope that the FA clamps down on this, they ought to!...if they don't, I would like to have faith that the Police will. That is an out and out assault. Nothing more, nothing less! This kind of violent action can not be tolerated, nor accepted as part of our game, and I am ashamed to be a player/manager which could be associated with this kind of thing. Hopefully, fingers-crossed, the next couple of days will see some positive action. For me, a life time ban for this kind of violent behaviour is too short!
  23. I can completely understand Moyes taking action...however I can not believe that it actually bothers him, and that he has actually taken the time to read the scribble's of a fool. You only have to look at Rooney to understand he is both uneducated and a retard.
  24. I have not seen this incident yet...but I believe it was uncalled for in any case. I hope that the FA do take postive and just action against Thatcher. Has anybody got a link to the video? Thanks

    Everton V Watford

lmao....which is more than can be said for Brian Barwick's victim I guess!
